Chapter Twenty

James 

"James calm down a second" Mum said as I paced their living room waiting for Dad to get back from where ever the hell he had gotten to
"It's 4am Mum! Where the hell is he!" I said making her jump slightly at my temper
I get that from Dad..
"I don't know sweetheart, he was here when I went to bed hours ago. He told me he was going to be joining me shortly afterwards" She said

"He can't have gone far" She said trying to offer some sort of comfort
"Screw this Mum" I said taking out my phone realising that we could use Piper's App. I never thought I would be so thankful for Piper's obsession
"He's at the office. Why the hell is he at the office" Mum asked looking over my shoulder with me
"I don't know. But I'll find out" I said grabbing my jacket

"James!" She called after me making me turn back to me as soon as I got to the car
"Please be careful, both of you" She warned me making me nod

For someone who almost lost the person they love twice in an apparent car accident, I didn't see to give a shit about any of the road laws with the speed I was driving to Dad's office. I ran probably every red light possible
Long story short, I was surprised to see I didn't get fucking killed 

I slammed the door shut before rushing up through the office. I got to our floor using my key card to gain access. All I could hear was yelling, crashing and then more yelling
"What the fuck" I cursed to myself walking through the building till I got to Uncle Paul's office where all the commotion was coming from 
I opened the door to see him stood on the opposite side of the room from Dad while Dad continued to throw anything at him

"you need to calm down brother!" Paul said making Dad grown throwing a hole puncher towards him
"Tell me to calm down one more fucking time and I'll watch the life drain from you I swear to god!" He said 

"Dad!" I called making him turn to look at me
"Oh look, your son finally joins the party" Paul said snidely 
"What is going on?" I asked looking between the two brothers right now
"James, your father here is psychotic" Paul said making Dad pick up another item from the desk
"Dad. Explain" I said making Dad's eyes stay directly on Paul while he began to speak

"Your uncle is the only person who was still signed in when Riley came to the office. It was also his clearance that wiped the footage" Dad said making my jaw clench as I turn to look over at my uncle

"For the last 5 fucking years he's been lying to our faces" Dad growled
It takes a lot to make Dad angry, mess with his family or anyone he cares about and you're playing with a fire you won't make it out from

"This entire time where you have been offering me support, sympathy when it came to Riley. It was all for what?" I asked
"you knew exactly where she was this entire time" I growled stepping towards him watching him take a step back until his back crashed against one of the book cases
"Where is she" I growled grabbing the scruff of his t-shirt

"I did this for you you know, she was hindering what you are, what you could be. If you let her back that all goes out of the window again" He said making my eyes darken as I look at him
"You are a fool if you let her back again" He said before my fist finally made contact with his face causing him to groan

"James" Dad warned me but I ignored him. Paul was the only thing standing in the way of me finding Riley before Sienna's father strikes

"You've got some prick tailing them to. What is the plan? To make Riley wish she was fucking dead?" I asked punching him again
"Tell me where the fuck she is and call of that asshole" I warned him again landing another punch this time letting him fall from my hands landing on the floor as I kicked him again

"What makes you think I still know where they are?" He asked spitting out some blood 
"Wrong fucking answer" I yelled kicking him again in the stomach 

"Where the fuck is she!" I yelled before Dad came by my side this time 
"This isn't going to go away Paul. Tell my son what he wants to know" Dad warned him
"The address is on the desk" He groaned as I kicked him once again before finally leaving him where he was 

I rushed over to the desk to see a bunch of reports we had been working on for the last few weeks but none of it shows any sort of address
"It's not here" I growled before Dad grabbing Paul by the neck pulling him up
"Where!" Dad yelled
"Second draw down! Yellow sticky note!" He yelled back before Dad dropped him back down as I opened the draw

"Got it!" I yelled looking at dad who nodded
"You go get Riley and the kids. I'll worry about this" He said nodding to Paul behind him 
He didn't need to fucking tell me twice

Riley was closer then she had been previously, it was almost as if subconsciously she was coming back to us without knowing
"Come on come on" I groaned being stuck in traffic. It was 7am. Who the hell was on the road so freaking early

I was about 20 minutes away from the hospital but it felt like a lifetime away, especially while I sat in stand still traffic 
If I wasn't there in time, Sienna was gone. 
I couldn't let that happen, not to Sienna, not to Riley.
They should have been with me from the get go. I should never had let Riley slip away again. I should have ran with her,
I should have chased her

Slamming my hands down on the steering wheel in frustration, my eyes dart to the centre console this time showing a number instead of anonymous. It wasn't a number I recognised and was also not one I had saved..

"Hello?" I growled into the phone after accepting it
"James" Riley's breathless voice said making my heart sink
Please don't tell me she's gone..

"Someone's taken Harrison" She cried
