I was woken up by Etta shaking me.
'Ugh what' I groaned.
'WE HAVE 5 MINUTES UNTIL BREAKFAST' Etta screamed at me.
'OH NO' I yelled as I leaped out of my bed.
I quickly showered whilst brushing my teeth, got dressed and done my hair then we left.
We see a few minutes late but no one noticed.
I walked in and saw Ajax.
I thought about what happened last night. I hope it isn't awkward.
Etta and I went and got our breakfast and we're just about to sit down on a bench when Ajax called me over.
'Y/n come sit here' Ajax yelled.
I walked over and sat next to him.
He was with the other gorgons so I felt a bit awkward.
'Hey Ajax you left the rave'n early last night what happened' one gorgon asked.
'Umm I got tired and went back to my dorm' he said looking at me.
He grabbed my hand underneath the table.
I looked down thinking it was an accident but he just held it more.
Then the bell rang.
'That's the bell' Ajax said 'see you guys at lunch'.
And we left.

Ajax and I began to walk to our next lesson.
'Did you mean to grab my hand?' I asked.
'Yes I did' he replied.
'Oh ok' I said blushing.
We spent the rest of the walk in silence.
I kept looking at him and he kept looking at me.
As we were walking we heard a scream.
We ran down the hall to see what was the matter.
It led it to the forest.
We found Rowan torn up on the forest floor.
'Woah what happened to him' I asked.
'I think he was attacked by the same thing that attacked you' Ajax said.
'What do you mean?' I asked.
'You had scratches just like that when I found you'
'That makes sense then' I said.
'I think he is alive but barely' Ajax replied 'he is probably going to be in a coma for a while'.
I kneeled down thinking of how upset Etta would be.
I touched his wrist checking for a pulse.
'It's there but very faint' I said 'wait it is getting stronger'.
Suddenly Rowan sat up.
'OMG HE'S A ZOMBIE' Ajax screamed.
I giggled at his comment.
'Rowan are you ok?' I asked.
'I think so' he said 'what happened'
'We think you were attacked by a monster' Ajax said.
'I do to I remember coming out here to pick some flowers during my free lesson and hearing something I ran but it caught up to me'.
'Do you remember at all what it looked like?' I asked.
'Yes it had sharp teeth, claws and weird bulging eyes' he said.
'Oh thank you would you like us to walk you back to your dorm?' I asked.
'No thanks' he said ' I would rather walk on my own'
'Ok then bye' Ajax said.
'Bye' replied Rowan.
'So...' Ajax said 'do you think it was the monster that attacked you?'
'Yes all he said about it is true at least what I remember'
'Great so we tell Weem's what the monster looks like'
'No' I said 'not yet we don't have enough evidence'.
'You were in hospital and Rowan just nearly died isn't that proof enough'.
'No one will believe us anyway come on we better get to class we have already missed enough'.
