It's Saturday morning, and now we're going to school to take the entrance exam. I am just chilling out while Vana is panicking of what she's going to wear. She's readying herself almost an hour now and thirty minutes a head before 8 o'clock. Of course mali-late kami ng dahil sa kanya.
It's easy for me to choose my wardrobe but Vana chooses her clothes like it depends there her whole life.
Because I'm an impatient person, ay uuna na ako.
"Vana, it's 8:05 am already, uuna na ako, kanina pa ako naghihintay sayo, ang bagal mo" I said while readying my things.
"AL, wait for me.. Saglit lang ito, madali lang naman akong magbihis. Why don't you pick a clothes for me, hmm?" she's baby talking me now.
I sighed.
"This, just wear this, para makaalis na rin tayo." Ibinigay ko sa kaniya ang damit at nakangiti naman itong pumunta sa banyo upang magbihis.
And because Vana's true to her words ay madali lang kaming nakaalis at sampung minuto ay nasa school na kami.
It's Saturday that's why there are no students in the area but I saw teachers who's running as if they have some urgent things to do.
Nagpatuloy kami sa paglalakad papasok ng school. May ilang teachers na napapatingin samin ngunit wala namang sinasabi. That's great because I don't care about them.
I know where is the principal office area that's why I don't need to ask someone to help us go there. As if..
After a long walk ay nakarating na rin kami.
"AL, Wait.."
Nangunguna ako sa paglalakad kaya hindi ako napigilan ni Vana na buksan ang pinto ng walang paalam.
I saw the principal glared on me but as if I care...Diretso akong naglakad patungo sa kung nasaan ito, sumunod naman sakin si Vana.
"We're going to take the entrance exam." I ended the unsaid question immediately.
"Don't you know how to knock first?" The principal still glaring me to death.
"A-ah, I'm sorry ma'am for her behavior. We're here to have an entrance exam for this year quarter." Sumingit na agad si Vana sa usapan, alam nitong kaya kong makipagbardagulan sa kaharap.
She's still glaring at me before turning her eyes to Vana.
Ngumiti ito at saka may kinuhang papel sa lamesa. I think it's the test we should take.
"You know the rules, right? Goodluck," I saw how the Principal's hiding her smirk. Ibinigay nito ang test paper sa amin bago itinuro ang room kung saan kami magti-test. And because I don't want anything to happen, I just take the ladder.
Before 10 minutes we already pass the exam papers. Nagulat pa ang principal at parang nanghihinala na tumingin sa amin. Wala akong imik na lumabas ng Pricipal's office at naiwan doon si Vana.
I texted Vana na mauna na itong umuwi at may pupuntahan lamang ako saglit.
I secretly go to my secret place here in my school. I miss this. Where I could go freely and roam around my favorite success.
I built this school without the help of the government...why? because they suck. They will just used me for them to be wealthier and be more famous. At first I thought they would be my greatest asset, for them to help me build my own school. Why school? because I want students to learn many things not just to have knowledges but learn to fight in their own way. At natupad naman iyon. But because the government meddling with my own decisions. I refused to have them. Easy.
