Hyunjin desperately looked at his surroundings. He couldn't see anything outside of the greenery of plants. He attempted to use his magic, but found that it physically hurt to do so. He was surrounded by darkness for what felt like moments before he opened his eyes and found himself in a completely different location.

His hands were tied behind his back as he was forced to kneel on a stone platform. Hyunjin's vision was too blurred to make out much of his surroundings. Someone with a familiar face approached and tied a silk band around his eyes. He struggled against his restraints to no avail.

"Where am I!?" He exclaimed, "Someone better answer me this instant!"

Better question, he thought, where's everyone else? Are they safe? A drop of sweat slowly rolled down his forehead and soaked into the silk. Hyunjin's breath hitched as a blade was placed under his chin, forcing him to look up.

"Don't worry. We have plenty of time to play before your friends grow close."

"That can't be a good sign." Chan frowned, "How did they get the Fae to agree to something like this?"

"We're asking the same question. We have no idea how we're gonna get him out of there too," Y/n sighed.

"Wait, gimme just a second. Let me check something," Han said before he suddenly disappeared.

Y/n stood by Chan and Arthemius at their small fire and crossed his arms. On the other side of the Fae's Forest was the Mythical Alliance's territory. The Vampires usually keep to themselves so there's no way Hyunjin could have landed in their hands. Especially since the Fae don't like the Vampires. The Sirens always love men, but Human men, not Elven. The Merpeople are too far out in the ocean to be any real threat. The Humans maybe? No, they'd expect us to look there.

Han reappeared through a doorway with a large, foreign book in his hands as he started, "So, fun fact, there's some cursed forest not too far from the Fae's forest. We could head that way and see if they dropped him there. I doubt they'd keep him anywhere inside their territory. It says here that they prefer to be non-confrontational. Very good to know."

Y/n blinked at him and frowned, "Non-confrontational?"

"Yeah, I mean, how many times have you seen them come out of their little forest? Personally, I've never seen that happen," he snapped the book shut and tossed it behind him. Instead of it disappearing like his other items, it hit the ground with a thump.

Y/n, extremely confused and exhausted, stared blankly at Han as he said, "I do happen to be terrified of the Fae, so I would not know how many times they have exited their forest."

Han stared at him for a moment with a big smile in silence before he broke down laughing. Chan and Arthemius smiled as well and laughed awkwardly. At least Han will always understand my humor, Y/n relaxed a little and sat down beside the fire.

The flames danced in the darkness as if it wanted to put on a show for him. His mind was blank as he watched it. Someone placed their hand on his shoulder, probably Han, but he paid them no mind. His eyelids held boulders as they drooped. He leaned into the person's hand as they finally fell shut.

"What are you going to do to me?" Hyunjin spat.

"What do you think we're going to do to you?" the man laughed, his laugh familiar, as he ran the side of his blade along Hyunjin's neck, "We're going to hurt you. Chop you to bits then deliver your head to the Human King."
