Reading a book that made her hot

Jasmine buried her face in the book that she was reading. Her eyes weren't blinking, reading every word that was written in the novel.

She was so lost in the book that she had picked it up that morning.

Every once in a while, Jasmine pulled the collar of her prison uniform. She had unbuttoned a few buttons of her uniform, revealing her fair collarbones.

"Why didn't they fix the air-conditioner in the library? It's so hot here," Jasmine looked towards the air-conditioner and complained.

"I don't think it was the AC that was broken, Jade," Warden Agnes said. She gave a meaningful look at Jasmine.

Her brow cocked, and her eyes signalled toward the novel that Jasmine was reading.

Jasmine coughed and fixed the sleeve cover of the book that had loosened and showed the front cover of the book.

"I don't understand what you are talking about, Warden Agnes. I'm still trying to understand this law written here," Jasmine said and put down the book slowly and subtly slid it to hide behind her back.

"Yeah. Sure. you don't," Warden Agnes played along with Jasmine, and didn't expose her lies, "well, then enjoyed reading your 'law book'. I'm sure there was something in there, mention about 'punishment'" Warden Agnes said with a tease and walked away, chuckling.

A pink tint covered Jasmine's face. Making sure the warden had left her eyesight, Jasmine pulled out the book from her back and opened to the page that she was reading.

The scene was hot and spicy, making her whole body heated up.

Luckily, she was wearing a bra, if she was into the free nipples movements that women these days were fighting for, people could see how her crown had erect.

Investing a few more minutes into the novel, Jasmine finally shut the book closed when the scene got too hot for her to handle.

"Fuuhh," she fanned herself, "I can't go on. I'll resume tomorrow," she said.

She stood up from the corner seat where she always sat and walked towards the bookshelves.

Jasmine tried to find the place where she could hide the book from another inmate's eyes.

After thinking for a minute, Jasmine pulled a stool and climbed on it. She put the book on the top shelves, where it was hard for others to reach.

Making sure that the book didn't stand up, Jasmine nodded her head in satisfaction.

With that settled, Jasmine walked out between the rack and went to the front desk where Warden Agnes was sitting.

Warden Agnes was knitting something at her desk.

"What are you knitting, Warden Agnes?" Jasmine asked.

The warden looked up and switched her concentration back to the thing that she was knitting.

"I'm making a scarf for Superintendent Ho. He's retiring. Tomorrow will be his last day. I'm giving the scarf as a gift," answered Warden Agnes.

"Oh, yeah. There will be his retirement celebration tomorrow, right?" Jasmine asked for confirmation.

"Yes. Everyone would have to be at the hall for the celebration," replied Warden Agnes, "don't come here to read your 'law book' tomorrow. Make sure you'll be at the hall tomorrow," Warden Agnes looked up to Jasmine and gave her a look.

Jasmine averted her eyes, "Yes, I know, Warden Agnes. I'll be there tomorrow," promised Jasmine.

'I'll guess I'll resume the story the day after tomorrow. Oh d*amn! I need to change my panties! I hope I have a clean one left.'

"Warden Agnes, I've got to go and... do laundry! See you tomorrow. Bye!" Jasmine waved to Warden Agnes and scurried from the library.

On her way to get back to her cell, Jasmine bumped into someone and she fell on her butt on the floor.

Her eyes were closed when she fell down. Jasmine was afraid to open her eyes to see who she had bumped into, 'oh god, please not any of them'. She prayed it wasn't any of the inmates that liked to bully her.

"Are you alright?" a man's voice was heard, and Jasmine automatically opened her eyes.

"Ahh. I'm sorry," she apologised when she realised who she had bumped into.

It was the Deputy Superintendent of the prison. The deputy was a young, good-looking man in his late twenties with great build and straight posture. No wonder all the inmates were drooling over him and became his fan.

'What's up with the law enforcement people in this country? Why do they all look like they belong in the runaway?' Jasmine asked in her mind. The memories of the wretched day played in her mind, and a certain blue-grey eyed man image appeared in her eyes.

'Why am I thinking about Director Vince's secret boyfriend?'

Jasmine lightly shook her head to cast away the man's image from her eyes.

"Are you alright?" the deputy asked her again and extended his hand to help Jasmine stand up.

Jasmine didn't hold the man's hand and stood on her own. She was already on the list of the inmates' least favourite people because she was a foreigner. No way would she add a reason for them to dislike her.

The deputy brought his hand that was left hanging by Jasmine to his side, putting it inside his pants pockets.

"I'm alright," Jasmine said. "Sorry. I was in a hurry. Didn't mean to bump into you," she gave a curt nod to the deputy before scurrying away from there.

Trent Ho, the Deputy Superintendent, looked at Jasmine's back, who was running away from him. A smile appeared on his face.

On the next day, everyone gathered in the prison hall. Inmates, guards, and everyone else that worked in the prison were presented there.

The hall was filled with murmurs of who would take over as the Head Warden of that place.

"Of course it will be our handsome Deputy Trent!" the inmates squealed.

"Let's make a bet!" an inmate said.

The back of the inmate's head was slapped, "what bet? There was only one candidate," the person said. The inmate who suggested the bet smile sheepishly.

She just wanted to make easy money and find entertainment in this place.

Soon, the celebration started, and everyone enjoyed the party until the Superintendent stood up and walked to the podium.

He gave a long speech that bored the inmates until, ".... and now, I will introduce you to the next person who will take my place as the Head Warden of Black River Prison..." the Head Warden's eyes glanced at Deputy Trent before he looked ahead again.

"Let's all give applause to your new Head Warden, Superintendent.... "
