Jasmine was held back at school today because she had classroom duty.

After completing her duty, Jasmine waved goodbye to her duty partner and headed home.

As usual, Jasmine preferred to walk home from school rather than taking the bus home.

Her house was quite a distance from the school, but it wasn't that far as well.

Jasmine preferred to walk as she could save the money for the bus fee for her shopping spree. As she comes from an average household, she couldn't ask her father for extra pocket money to sustain her shopping habits.

Jasmine didn't mind walking home as she knew a shortcut to her house.

There was a small alley next to the convenience store that let her cross to the other side without having to go all around the block.

She took the path daily without any problems.

However unlucky for her, today she encountered a group of delinquents who were loitering behind the convenience store.

"What a trash," she murmured.

"What do you say?" One of the boys, who was just putting on a helmet, caught what Jasmine said.

"Trash? Are you that good?" he asked, scoffing, while scanning Jasmine up and down.

Jasmine just walked down the alley without paying him any heed, as that was the best thing she thought to do.

However, the other delinquents didn't share the same idea.

Seeing Jasmine walking alone, and ignoring their leader, they surrounded Jasmine.

"Did she call you trash, Big Brother?" they asked their leader.

"Whatever. Girls with skimpy clothes are trash too," the leader replied, "I'm out of here, I'll see you guys tonight," the boy said and got on the super bike that was parked at the side.

Jasmine scoffed when the leader zoomed away with his bike.

'Skimpy clothes?' Jasmine looked at herself. She did make her skirt shorter than the actual size to make it look trendy, however, to call her a trash? She was huffing.

Putting her anger aside, Jasmine ignored the leader's remarks and resumed walking down the alley.

However, "Where are you running off so fast, let's hang out here for a while," one of the other delinquents that was still there blocked her way.

"Let me go, my dad's a policeman," said Jasmine.

"Yeah, and my dad is the Country President," he replied, rolling his eyes. "How many times have I heard that threat? All you girls are the same. Using the police name," the boy didn't believe Jasmine's claims.

"I'm telling the truth! My dad is a policeman. You all will be in trouble if I call him," Jasmine clenched her hands and gritted her teeth.

They all just laughed, seeing her angry face.

In their eyes, she looks adorable, with a reddened face and fierce look, like a kitten.

Ignoring Jasmine's threats, the boy came closer to Jasmine, pushing her back to be cornered by the wall.

Jasmine's hand secretly reached for her keychain hanging from her backpack. A device that her dad had given her in case of emergency.

However, before her hands could touch it, the door next to her opened, and a boy holding a garbage bag walked out.
