Episode Nineteen

Anko burst through the glass of the exam room, i sighed and rubbed my forehead as i walked throught the shattered window and went behind the banner that i helped anko make,

"Sorry bout that ibiki, i tried to stop her but she wouldnt listen" he sighed and rubbed his forehead

"Its fine"

I peaked out from around the banner and saw many more genin than i expected "ibiki you're getting soft, there's still so many of them"

"Its all because of that yellow haired one, he made everyone else stay with his little speech"

"Hmm, yeah he does that a lot" i was pleased to see that Sasuke had made it, though i expected as much from him

"Well dont worry, im sure a lot of em will get knocked out in the second stage" though i had an extremely bad feeling about this

"Well good luck to you y/n" ibiki patted my head "thanks ibiki, by the way" i started to walk away "i used that torture method you told me about on one of my recent missions" i smirked "worked like a charm"

Ibiki laughed "im glad"

//TIMESKIP//

"Alright maggots" anko started, i kind zoned out after that, until she shook me,

"Hmm?, whats up?" i asked her

"You seem off" she shrugged her shoulders "or that could just be me"

"No, its just i have a bad feeling in my gut, i feel like something bad is going to happen" anko narrowed her eyes, she knew that when i had a bad feeling about something, i was always right

Like one time when we were going to the store to get dango i had a bad feeling, and then when we got to the store, they were all out of dango

"Do you wanna check it out?" she asked,

"Well thats the problem, i dont know what i feel bad about, so i have no idea what we would even be looking for" i sighed and rubbed my temples

"I can look in and see if anything suspicious has been happening in the village" anko suggested,

I smiled tiredly, not that she could see it "thanks anko, i really appreciate it"

//TIMESKIP//

"Ugh anko did you find anything?" i questioned leaning against the wall

"No" she sighed "but i havent gotten all the information yet so there could still be something that we're missing"

"Alr-"i stopped and clutched my hand in pain groaning

"y/n?! Whats wrong?!" anko leaned down to my level

I was frozen "sasuke" i whispered

"What?" i stood up and made some hand signs not letting anko finish her sentence i teleported to the kunai that sasuke had activated

"Well well well" a man licked his lips "another uchiha?"

"Oro-orochimaru" i met his eyes and he smiled

"y/n!" a voice yelled, i looked over to see sakura clutching the body of Sasuke she was crying

"What the fuck did you do to sasuke you snaky bastard, ill fucking kill you!" i screamed

"Hmm ive already placed a curse mark on the other one, but this one also shows promise" his neck elongated and he opened his mouth ready pierce my neck, but i was one step ahead of him

I activated my sharigan and flipped in the air as i stabbed him in the neck, but he still managed to nick me in the arm

"Nice try bitch" i smirked as his neck went back to normal, "i suppose one is good enough"

He started to sink into the wood of the tree he was on "not so fast" i lunged forward and wood wrapped around him, trapping him

"Oh? Wood style jutsu, interesting" but he still disappeared, "Y/N!" i heard anko yell from afar

"OROCHIMARU HES HERE!" i yelled at her, she stopped and nodded, going in the direction he disappeared in

"Sasuke" i whispered and started to walk in his direction, but an almost unbearable pain developed in my arm, "fuck" i quickly stabbed the chakra points in my arm to stop the flow of the small curse mark (idk if this would actually work in the show but im just gonna pretend it does)

It still hurt but a lot less,

"Sasuke, im going to kill orochimaru" i pushed sakura aside as i pulled out a scroll, i bit my finger and dragged the blood across the paper,

"Sakura stand back, go get naruto, but be careful, there might be other teams lurking around here that heard the commotion"

I did multiple hand signs with one of my hands and something appeared from the scroll, it was a needle, i injected it into sasukes neck, and his tensed muscles relaxed,

'This would have to do for now' "oh itachi, im so sorry i broke our promise again, sasuke got hurt again and its my fault for not being on more guard" a single tear ran down my face and landed on sasukes face, i wiped it away and moved some of the stray hairs out of his face

"Sasuke you just have to stay strong, theres nothing more i can for you right now" i whispered as sakura appeared with naruto behind me

"Sakura follow me" i picked up sasuke and went to a tree that had large roots, i layed sasuke down and sakura did the same with naruto

"As much i want to stay and protect you guys, ive already broken a rule interfering here, so here"

I handed sakura a scroll, "whenever you are in great danger, open this scroll, and it will help you, got that?" i looked her in the eyes

"Y-yeah" i sighed and held my arm "ok but remember, only when you are in a life threatening situation, i trust that you'll make the right judgement call"

'She might stupid when it comes to sasuke, but shes the most trustworthy out of these 3'

"Ok" i leaned down and felt sasuke and nautos foreheads, naruto had a fever, but if i interfered, they would be immediatly disqualifed

"Well then, good luck on the rest of the exams"

I appeared at the first place i sensed one of my kunai and collapsed breathing heavily, not caring where i was, that was until i felt something move under me, i froze and jumped up

"Is there a reason you're in my house?"

'Oh my jashin, of all people, shitttt'
