Episode Twenty

"Oh heyyy hatake its kinda a long st-" i didnt get to finish as i fell to the ground clutching my arm groaning in pain

He rushed forward "y/n, what happened, move your hand" when i didnt he moved it and his eye widened when he saw the curse mark

"What happened, who did this?" he picked me up and i didnt protest because of the pain, he layed me on his bed and started to leave the room to get something

"Oro-orochimaru" i whispered out, but he heard it, "orochimarus here?" i barely nodded and ripped my arm protector off to bite down on it so i wouldnt scream,

Now normally i had a pretty high tolerance to pain, ibiki made sure of that, and also especially because i was in the ANBU and had village secrets, i was trained to wishstand intense torture

But this pain is unlike anything ive ever experienced, its as if someone was digging a hot knife down my throat, while i was also being burned by scalding hot water all over my body

"Ok, im going to seal that curse mark ok?"

"A-alright" i stared to sit up but coughed up blood, getting some on his sheets "sorry hatake"

"Its fine i can always get new sheets" he came over and picked me up and brought me to the living room, though i didnt really have time to get a good look around

He set me on the floor and it felt like days until he was finally done with the sealing circle, once he did some handsigns, i felt the pain lessen considerably and i sighed in relief

"Thanks hatake" i tried to stand up but almost fell

Kakashi POV

I was really worried when i had been reading in bed and y/n just appeared on top of me, i was surprised and moved a little bit and she jumped off, but fell to the ground in pain

It seemed she had a curse mark, this was bad, and whoever gave her it mustve been extremely strong

Now that i had sealed the curse mark, she attempted to get up and almost fell, she stumbled over to a picture i had framed in my living room and started crying

"Nii-san" she reached out to touch the picture her brother was in, it was the picture from my first team, team minato 

"Itachi" she whispered "im so sorry" i walked over to her and felt her forehead, she had a fever, so that must be why shes acting delirious

She suddenly jumped up and hugged me apologizing "im so sorry itachi, i broke our promise"

I wondered what promise she meant, I knew that her itachi had been close when they were children, the only other people she spent the most time with were probably obito and maybe shisui uchiha

I sighed and knocked her out, her body going limp, i picked her up and brought her to my room and laid her down, i went and sat on one of the seats i had in my room, and examined her

I had known y/n for a long time, ever since she was a child, and i had only seen her cry one other time besides this one, and that was when Minato-sensei had told her about obito, and that was one of the last times i had seen her genuinely smile, when we had just appeared she had been telling itachi something

She had been smiling, of course she smiles now, but its different, it feels forced, as if shes putting on a mask for everyone, smiling through the pain

"Auntie!" i called, running up the steps of the giant traditional japanese house,

She slid open the door smiling, "oh! y/n, im guessing you're here for itachi right?" she smiled

I nodded smiling as well "yup!" i bounced on balls of my feet

"Hes in the forest practicing right now," she pointed in the direction he was "thanks auntie!" i ran up and hugged her making her laugh and hug me back

I was humming as i finally entered the forest following the familiar path, when three guys appeared out of nowhere and a kunai came and cut my cheek

"Hey look at this, i think this girls an uchiha, we could get some good money from an uchiha girl" one of the guys smirked and my eyes widened, i backed up until i could feel the tree behind me

I didnt bring any weapons with me cause nii-san said it was too dangerous for me, and i couldnt really perform any jutsu yet

"Hmm but it doesnt seem like shes unlocked her sharingan yet, so shes practically worthless" another man waved his hand

"Still though it couldnt hurt to try" all three men stepped forward as i gripped my dress in my hands

The man reached out to grab me but a kunai came out of nowhere and cut his hand making him quickly retract it

"What the fuck" the man mumbled and looked around as itachi jumped down from a tree, i smiled

"Tachi!" he smiled slightly back at me but frowned and narrowed his eyes when he saw the cut on my cheek, "what happened" he felt my cheek

"That would be me" the man who cut me smirked "whats a little kid like you gonna do?" the man taunted

"n/n, turn around and dont look back until i say so alright?" itachi spoke soothingly and calmly, i nodded, feeling better now that itachi was here

I turned around and heard some thuds on the ground and then i felt a hand on my back leading me away from the scene,

"Tachi" i looked up at him he had a serious and dark look in his eyes, but it disappeared when he looked down at me

"Hm?" he hummed

"Thank you" i smiled at the ground

"ITACHI UCHIHA" auntie was currently yelling at tachi because she saw the cut on my cheek

I heard some thuds and then auntie ran into the room and caressed my cheek, "are ok my dear?, itachi told me what happened"

I nodded "yup but tachi helped me!" i jumped up,

"Did he?" she smoothed out my hair as i smiled, mikoto was basically like my mother

There was a bunch of knocks on the door and some yelling outside, mikoto tilted her head, and went and opened the door, i peeked out from around her and saw tobi-nii

"Nii-san!" i ran up and hugged him, he was surprised, "what are you doing here?" i questioned

"N/N I TOLD YOU TO STAY AT HOME I WAS SO WORRIED!" he yelled in my ear making me flinch, i looked down at the ground "sorry nii-san" i sniffed tears threatening to fall

He sighed "dont cry n/n" he wiped away my tears and ran his thumb over the bandage that covered my cut, "what happened?"

"y/n tripped and fell when she was on her way to see me" itachi came up and looked at nii-san, we had both agreed not to tell anyone because auntie would overreact and so would nii-san

"Alright, well lets go home now n/n" nii-san took my hand "can you carry me?" i asked he sighed and laughed as he got down for me to get on his back

Second day back and they are already bombarding me with work, woohoo, im really glad i wrote these when i had the time, im keeping this short because i still have a bunch of math to work on so im gonna try to finish that up now, hope yall are having a good day/night/evening, bye bye!
