Episode Eighteen

"I just want to talk" he answered calmly

"Alright, i suppose ill allow you to talk old man" i pointed my finger at him "speak" i smirked at his angered expression

One of the ANBU next to him started to move forward but Danzo held out a hand to stop him "i want you to join the foundation"

I laughed, and appeared behind him with my katana at his neck, the ANBU didnt even have time to react "you better be glad that you're one of the elders in the village, or else i would kill you right here and now"

I jumped away and started to walk out "as for my answer, well i suppose you can guess" i snorted "be careful, you might start to become senile in your old age"

As i walked out, another ANBU approached me "ugh cant even catch a break" i mumbled "listen im not joining that stupid foundation, so dont even try" i started to walk away but the ANBU came up and whispered in my ear that the hokage wanted to speak with me

"Cmon i just got released, and hes out here giving me missions" i teleported to the kuani in his office, but was met with a bookcase in my face

"What the fuck?" i pushed the bookcase over causing everyone in the room to jump in surprise, two ANBU appeared and had kunai out but i shooed them away

"Yo, old man, when you'd put the new bookcase there?" he sighed and i turned around to see that all the books that were once on the shelves were now the ground

"Its fineee, anyways i heard you had a mission for me?"

"Well i called you here to tell you that i want to be officiating one of the stages of the exam" ohhh this is going to be fun

"Which stage?"

"The second stage with Anko"

"YES" anko was awesome, sure she had a eccentric personality that most people couldnt keep up with, but she also loved dango about as much as i did, so we would always have dango eating competitions

"Where is the second stage?" i tilted my head

"The forest of death" hiruzen answered

"Oooooo, i love going in there" hiruzen shot me a surprised look

"You go in there? thats a restricted area "I immediately covered my mouth,

"Ummm, i just remembered that i have somewhere to be like right this second, ummm ill see you later old man!" i ran as fast as i could out of there

"Whew, that was close.. Hm hatake?" i turned to see him leaning against the wall reading his ahem.. Book

"They are almost passed, we need to meet them" he put away his book,

"Ugh alright"

//TIMESKIP//

"I see, sakura you've come too, now you can formally register for the chunin exams"

"What do you mean" pinkie questioned

"Only three man squads can apply and register for the exams"

"But you said..." she trailed off

"If kakashi told you that, then those two knuckleheads would probably make you take them regardless if you wanted to or not, but since you all came here according to your own will, then we can allow you to pass"

"Im proud of you all" hatake did his famous one eye smile and sasuke naruto and sakura all stepped forward

"See you later duckbutt" i ruffled his hair and watched as they opened the door and stepped in

"You think they'll be ok?" i looked over to kakashi,

"Yeah, i think they'll be just fine" i put my hands behind my head

"Soooo, what do we do now?" i yawned

"Dont you have to help oversee the second stage with Anko?" he asked as we both started walking

Something that ive noticed over these last few weeks is that ive gotten a bit more comfortable around Kakashi, i mean i still hate him but hes actually not that hard to talk to

"y/n?" he waved a hand in front of my face, i slapped it away "yeah but you know anko, she said that shes got it figured out, im mostly there to make sure she doesnt go crazy" i laughed lightly

"Well, i think imma go get some ramen, wanna join me?" i glanced at kakashi

"Sure"

//TIMESKIP//

We were finally at ichiraku, but i noticed that kakashi wasnt eating his ramen

"Not hungry?" he looked up from staring at his ramen

"Huh? Oh no its just" he pointed to his mask,

I made an o with my mouth, "aww cmon i thought i was going to be able to see your face" i groaned

"Was that the only reason you asked me to join you" a teasing tone to his voice

I frowned "no, but it wouldve been a nice bonus" he laughed

"Welll if you're not going to eat your ramen, then you wont mind if i take some do you?" i asked still hungry even after 3 bowls of ramen

He slid the ramen over to me i smiled and took it, finishing it in one slurp

"Ohhhh, y/nnnnnn~" a voice called making me stand up and flip around, there standing with her hands on her hips looking as eccentric as ever was

"ANKO" i ran and hugged her "im assuming you're here to tell me that ibiki is almost done with the genin?" i smiled as she pulled away and nodded eagerly,

"So lets gooooo!" she pulled me along, as i looked back i saw kakashi standing at the ramen shop with an irk mark, i may have kinda left him to pay, i winked as anko pulled me down the street
