Episode Thirteen

//FLASHBACK//

3RD POV

A child and a man sat on a dock overlooking a lake, "Hey, pervy guy" the child spoke

The mans eyebrow twitched "what" he asked

"Can you teach me how to fight?" the child asked, tilting their head

"What makes you think i can fight?" the man answered a smirk appearing on his face

"I dunno, my nii-san taught me how to feel people catra so i could tell how strong people are"

The man let out a loud belly laugh causing the child to tilt their head, curiously, "whats so funny" they asked

Once the man finished laughing, he answered "ya know, i think I will train you kid, but" he paused, "its gonna be hard, especially on a 7 year old kid like you"

The child puffed out their cheeks and pouted "i can take it, both my nii-sans said im strong!"

"Hm, well" he got a distant look "if shisui said it himself, then I suppose" he sighed "alright kid, but dont come crying when it becomes too much"

The child flashed a bright smile and held up a thumb, "dont worry pervy guy, i can take anything you throw at me!" the man laughed once again and stood up

"Well then, lets get to training!"

"WAIT RIGHT NOW?!"

//FLASHBACK END//

y/n POV

'Ok pervy sensei, i admit, your teachings werent bad, now lets see if they come in handy'

"SUMMONING JUTSU" i yelled, bitting down on my finger to draw blood, at the same time i jumped, and when i landed, i landed on top of a giant frog,

"OK KAERU (means frog in japanese, so creative i know)"

Zabuza laughed a horrible laugh,

"So, it seems you know the ways of the toad sage Jiraiya, one of the legendary sanin, we'll see if it works though!" he launched himself at me

'A shadow clone, cmon y/n think, think! Where is his original body'

Kaeru pulled out his katana from his back, and blocked Zabuzas sword

"KAERU THINK YOU CAN TAKE OVER HERE?" i yelled over the sounds of fighting

"Leave it to me!" he shouted back

"Thanks a ton,ill be sure to get you a bunch of slugs after this is finished!" i called

"Ohhoho, thats givin me the strength to fight harder!" he shot forward and destroyed the clone "ill take care of all the clones, you can kakashi can take care of the real one!"

"Thanks kaeru!" i yelled, and started searching for the real zabuza

'Found ya bitch' i smirked, I started to charge forward when i felt a tug on the back on my uniform, it was kakashi

"For fucks sake Hatake, what now?" I rolled my eyes, he always had to get in the way

"If we want to defeat Zabuza, we have to work together" I gagged, I hated teamwork, not only do i have to talk to people, we have to work together, the only team i would willingly lead would be my old ANBU team, since we had trained together very closely, we could know each other's moves even before we did them.

But now, I would have to work with... Hatake, "*sigh, fine, do you have a plan to defeat him?" I asked

"Yeah" he then whispered the plan into my ear

I was running around, placing my special kunai at even intervals, around where Kakashi was fighting Zabuza

'I really hope this crazy plan of yours works Hatake'

//Earlier//

"So this is the plan, im going to distract Zabuza, and you place your kunai at even intervals around us in a circle, when im ready, ill give you a signal, then you'll push all of your chakra into those kunai, this will cause an explosio-"

"I know it will cause a fucking explosion, im not some academy student, now, ill follow your plan for now, but if it looks like it wont work, im going by my own plan, got that Hatake?" I cut him off and shoved a finger to his chest,

I knew i was being mean, but could you blame me? My only conection to my brother was just stolen, so of course i was mad

He sighed, "fine"

//present//

A loud whistle sounded throughout the bridge,

'The signal, now!' i pushed most of my chakra into the kunai, a loud explosion rocked the bridge, but i made sure that it wouldnt break the bridge

Once the smoke cleared, i searched for Zabuzas chakra, 'cmon bastard where are you?'

I felt a slight shift in the air behind me, i whirled around and stabbed the person in the stomach, it was Zabuza

He fell to the ground, i expected it to turn into water, but he didnt,

Was it really that easy? No, thats not possible, unless! Fuck

Kakashi POV

I barely made it away from the explosion as y/n detonated it, but i still got hit pretty hard, i guess i would have to ask her to heal me later, if we survive,

I look around to see y/n standing there, she must be looking for Zabuza, i saw a shadow slice through the air towards her head, making me inhale sharply, but she quickly whirled around and stabbed Zabuza

However, it didnt turn into water when it hit the ground, she seemed to realize at the same time as me,

"Y/N!" i called as a giant blade came cutting through the air towards her neck

I actually like this chapter, is it my fave, no, but i still feel better about this one than the last one, i hope ill be able to update more over the holiday break, but we'll see, i also apologize about not updating, schools just been stressful and ive been going through some mental health stuff lately, thats actually how i wrote this chapter, i needed some sort of escape, and so i was like, why dont i write, and it worked, so im happy, anyways, hope you're having a good day/ night/evening bye bye!
