I hate how much i love you Jenna because im about to put a pause in all my university plans for you.

I was driving to the address Jenna gave me thinking if i made the right choice.

I gripped the stirring wheel tightly my bones cracking a bit.

Yes, yes i did.

I dont care about money, mixology, university, struggling as long as she is happy.

As long as she is happy ill fight to push through.

Fuck you Jenna cause ive got news for you i am now living purely for myself and in this dark world i only feel myself when im with you, so i have to fight to make you happy.

I loosened my grip on the wheel as i hit the brakes slightly, stopping in front of a mansion. Exhaling as if id been holding in smoke in my lungs. I feel light.

Outside the mansion stood Jenna in a formal black dress looking absolutely stunning, eyeing my car from side to side. She stepped of the porch begging to walk towards my car.

I got out and locked the car.

The minute her eyes locked into mine she started running towards me.

I turned to look behind me thinking something was wrong but the street was empty. By the moment i turned my head back Jenna crashed into my arms hugging me from my waist and holding me tightly her face hidden in my collarbone.

I was stunned yet still spoke first.

"I missed you, the house is pretty empty since you left"

"Thank you so, so much, you have no idea how important this is to me, ill never be able to repay you or forget you in my life" she looked up a hint of sadness in her glistering eyes "and i missed you too"

We were close, too close.

"Lets go inside its cold" i blurted out even if i knew damn well that hug would warm me better than any fancy firewood.

We pulled apart and she dragged me by my hand inside.

Once she closed the door behind us she asked me to wait going inside on her own.

This place is really huge, i thought starring at the escalator in front of me.

She then came around the corner and signaled for me to come over.

"Hey guy, so this is Y/n" she introduced me.

"Hello everyone im happy to meet you all" i said a bit socked since i was faced with five children and their parents.

Thats a big family.

"Okay so we have, Aaliyah, Isaac, Mia, Mariah and Markus my siblings"

I waved at everyone smiling politely.

"And these are my parents, my mom Natalie and my dad Edward"

You walked over shaking the woman's hand.

"Im really sorry for intruding in your house ma'am despite the circumstances"

"We are all very glad you are here Y/n, you are a life saver"

I then went to shake Mr Edwards hand noticing he had parkinson and to an extreme extent.

I shook his hand lightly as he moved his hands around.

"Nice to meet you sir, Im sorry for intruding in your house, i promise to help us much as possible when im here whatever you need you just call me and ill be there in a heart beat and i do have to say your daughter is really wonderful."

He looked at me halfheartedly not saying anything.

"Edward hasn't been really happy to accept a strangers help in his own house"

" I understand but im sure we will click as time goes by" i said smiling at the man.

"Maybe" he replied looking at his hands.

We all had a nice dinner chatting away the evening. The family tried to stay discreet not asking too many personal questions.

They seem like a loving family.

I think the most memorable thing of the night was watching Jenna laugh her heart out after her siblings said or did something stupid. My eyes lingered at her beautiful smile.

It eventually got late and i needed to head out. I was coming back the next morning either way.

Jenna walked me to the door.

"Last chance to back down" she said holding the door for me. She said it jokingly but i could sense she was scared of my reply.

"Your family is lovely i cant wait to get to know your dad better."

She smiled at me.

"Goodnight Jenna, have a nice trip" I said walking out the door.

"Wait i need to ask you something before you leave"

"Shoot" I said turning around.

She walked outside next to me closing the door behind her.

"How did you know i was bullshitting that day?"

I let out a small laugh.

"Jenna you told me you have a boyfriend"

" And? "

"Jenna you are gay" i replied, i was pretty sure by now but the reply was still scaring me.

She looked at me shocked. Shit dont tell me she isn't.

"How...?" She stopped looking at the ground.

"How did you know?" She eventually continued.

"Good gay dar" is said puffing out my chest proudly and relieved.

"Dont worry i aint no snitch" i said after seeing her still looking at the ground.

"Not a lot of people know that, its not just a thing i keep from the public eye." I think she is finding the floor to interesting at this point.

"Jenna look at me" she slowly raised her head.

"No matter what anyone thinks, you are perfect" i said softly taking her in my arms.

"You are perfect to me" i got out in a whisper next to her ear.

I felt a tear roll down my lower neck.

"Thank you" she whispered back.

We broke apart and i whipped her tears with my hands.

"Promise me you'll call once in a while even to just check on your dad" i said not letting go of her face.

"I promise"

I kissed her forehead.

"Safe travels my little star"

I stepped of the porch and headed to my car watching Jenna wave at me as i drove away.

"Goodnight Y/n"
