Today is the day!!!

Jenna is coming back home today around 8-9-10 idk she can be late this is the filming industry.

Im so happy to see her.

I woke up excited.

I have so much to do today but first COFFEE!

I grabbed my keys and stormed off.

I am skipping class and have a day off from work today but i got almost to much to do to even breathe today.

I headed out driving downtown sitting an the nearest coffee shop i found.

Took a coffee and sat down writing down everything i needed to buy.

Ingredients, flowers, candles, clothes maybe idk.

I also need to pay the bills today, leave the car for service, cook of course, shower and tidy up the house.

Are there enough hours in the day to do that, its already 11am after all. Better get started then.

To the supermarket!

I got inside the house, how did the day go so bad.

Sypermarket was closed, i drove elsewhere got half the things i needed had to go to an other store. Flowers got destroyed in the back of the car so i went back and got new ones. I found candles quite easily, and i left the car for service and walked back.

An old lady was cursing me by the cashier, i dont even know what i did.

Walking back it started raining and now im soaked.

I just want to take a warm shower and start cooking.

I finished cooking around 7 and left the food in the oven in hopes it will stay warm.

I was sitting on the cough watching the news when my phone rang.

I got excited seeing Jenna's name pop up.

"Hey Jen, i cant wait till you get here, you wont believe everything that happened today-"

"Y/n..."

Her voice was tiered and if im not mistaken sad.

"What's wrong sweetheart? It's okay."

"I wont be coming back tonight, the filming got postponed for an other week"

"When did you learn about this?" i said monotonically.

"Wednesday"

"Jenna its Saturday"

"I-, i couldn't bring myself to tell you, im sorry, you have every right to be mad at me, im really really sorry"

I took a moment to ponder.

"Dont be sorry, this is your job i know what i signed up for. Just, next time let me know beforehand, okay?"

"Why aren't you angry?"

"I am a little, but these things happen, its not in your control nor mine. It is pointless to fuss over things we cant change."

"Ill tell you next time, i promise"

"Thank you"

"So what was it about your day you wanted to tell me?"

"Its not important" i said looking at the oven displeased.

"Y/n I have to go, my break is almost over."

"Its okay i understand" as much as it might hurt.

"Y/n ill be back before you notice, okay? Dont get all grumpy on me this week okay? I cant wait to hear about your uni and what you've learnt."

"Ill try my best"

"I love you"

"I love you too"

I didnt close my phone i left it on the counter bipping.

And it soon shut itself off leaving me in a god awful silence.

I picked it up again and dialed a number.

"Hello"

"Yes, miss Jane?"

"Yes, who am i speaking to?"

"Y/n l/n"

"Oh hi dear, i didn't expect to hear from you, how are you"

"Honestly, in need of a friend"

"Am i considered your friend?"

"I dont have a lot of people around, so even if i view you as a colleague you are currently my best option"

"what can i do for you?"

"Would a drink be too much to ask?"

"No im down for that, Miriam's Drinks sound good?"

"Ill meet you there in an hour"

"Make it two"

"Alright, and Jane?"

"Yes?"

"Thank you"

"Its no big deal now go get ready"

Been a while since i last updated uni has been kicking my ass i hope you guys are all enjoying your holidays and in the spirit of christmas I give you this chapter.
