JUNGKOOK POV
Jimin rested an arm across the back of the seat, his long fingers toying with the rose petals.
Meanwhile, I was struggling to keep my distance, resisting the urge to snuggle in close and inhale his heady scent.
When I saw him smile as we
got in the carriage and began
our little tour, my heart skipped
a beat.I was in Jimin's company, alone and couldn't be happier, more elated.
After everything that had gone down, he hadn't run in the
other direction. He didn't strike me as the romantic type so I was shocked he didn't seem the least bit concerned about the situation
we now found ourselves in.I suspected his reasons for
going along with this were all about wanting to get me into
bed but I didn't give a shit.He was impossible to resist and though I knew it was a risk to
let him fuck me, I didn't want
to spend the rest of my life wondering if things between
us could have gone beyond
one night. If today was all she wrote?
At least I'd have given it my
best shot. The fact was, Jimin had admitted I'd been on his mind as much as he'd been on mine and I hoped that meant something.
As Will spoke about history, I imagined it was Christmas time, where kids, couples and families of all shapes and sizes skated across the ice while snow fell all around them.
"You ever skate before?"
"Not really."
"Falling on my ass though, I've done that plenty of times."
I burst out laughing at Jimin's admission.
He let out a laugh in return, the deep, joyful sound and genuine smile he wore knocking the
very breath from my lungs."You?" he asked, still smiling.
"I used to play hockey but once
I got a broken nose after a guy decided to use my head as a puck, my parents made me quit.""That's nice." He released a wistful sigh.
"You like that I broke my
nose?" I gasped, giving him a fake look of horror."No but what they did to
protect you shows they cared.""That's got to mean something, don't you think?" He cleared his throat, smile gone.
"Maybe. So, do your parents
live in the city?""Last I heard." His lower lip disappeared between his teeth.
"You don't keep in touch?"
Jimin shook his head.
"Apparently having a high social standing is more important than admitting you have a gay son,
At least where my father's concerned anyway."A look of despair flittered across his face and as the mask slipped back on, my heart hurt for him.
"And your mom?"
I blurted before the opportunity to find out more about this man was lost.
Jimin scratched his chin, moisture gathering in his eyes.
"She's filing for divorce and
I'm still trying to decide
whether to get back in contact.""I'm sorry."
I uttered, swallowing down the sudden pain in my throat.
I couldn't imagine what it
would be like not having any parents around."No need to apologize, It was
his decision to be an asshole.""Besides, if it weren't for a little guilt money being thrown my way, hybe wouldn't exist."
The ache grew into a sense
of longing, of grief. For everything he'd gained,
he'd lost so much more."I guess."
"So besides hobi, do you have any other family?" I asked.
"His mother, Nadi."
"She practically raised me."
"Her pictures are all over the walls of the club."
He blinked, eyes holding a look of pride within them.
"I'd love to meet her sometime."
"You would? Why?" Turning
to face me, he tilted his head, curious gaze searching mine."Well, I like what I've seen
of her work."There was more to it than
that, of course there was
but I figured making out I wanted to meet the person
who'd taken on the role of His mother wasn't the best way to keep things between us casual."Oh. Right."
"Yes, well, she is very talented."
He frowned, which was so unexpected, my body hummed.
Rather than call him out on it, I decided to help lighten the mood.
"She is but that's not the only reason I want to meet her."
"I also want to thank her for raising the guy with the best
BJ skills in Seoul." I laughed.Smirk appearing, he leaned in close, his breath hot against
the shell of my ear."I think that honor belongs to you, Jeon Jungkook because
ever since we got together, it's been real hard to find better.""Yeah?"
"Oh, yeah."
To accentuate his statement,
he reached down and palmed
his length, the action making it close to impossible to resist tearing off his cargoes and impaling myself on him.Instead, I settled for giving his lips a soft, gentle caress with my own, tracing my tongue along the warm, plump flesh.
He responded right away, returning the kiss just as sweetly, our mouths moving, brushing, tasting while we
made out in the afternoon sun."Lovely."
I heard several clicks of Will's camera before realizing what
was happening."Remind me to kill Tae when
I get home, won't you?" I grumbled against Jimin's lips."You got it."
As though it were made to fit there, I rested my head against the crook of his neck and we continued our journey, passing by the Central Park, Playground.
The fresh air and sunshine must have triggered something in Jimin because he continued to share more snippets about himself.
Of happier times, when as a
child he'd visit the zoo with
his mother.Or when he'd run wild and his mother would scold him after he'd graze a knee, something
he did often because he never seemed to be able to sit still without going crazy.I hadn't expected him to tell me anything about himself, let alone what he had and as I sat there, safe in the warmth and security of his arms, I realized I never wanted the day to end.
