The last day of the exams didn't feel as intense and overwhelming as the previous days. There was this excitement that the academic session had come to an end.

I couldn't help but imagine what was to entail in the coming holidays. For sure, part of it would be like my previous days, the ones before I started attending real school, when I was still home schooling. All day in bed (would be fun but I'm not the kinda person that wakes up late, so my sleeping life wasn't gonna change that much.) But something that would definitely change was the fact that I'd have more time to draw comics something I didn't do that much these days.

Esther wanted to do a little get to gather before we all parted ways. Her invitees where just me, James, Stephen, Andy, Kossi and Lam. It kinda felt awkward knowing she invited Lam to her little eat out in the school's canteen.

Well, maybe some few days of sharing desk with him brought some kinda closure amongst them. Some days back, she couldn't stand him but now, its kinda like a different story.

I felt like going to inform him about Esther's after part ( free lunch) plan. Myself and him were kinda the first people to submit our papers, living the rest of the class to battle the geography exam.

It kinda felt boring sitting and waiting outside for the rest of the class ( my friends in particular) to finish and head out. Waiting felt boring, so heading out to look for Lam to see if was someone worth keeping me company was the only not boring option left.

Searching for him felt really stressful. He was kinda almost no where to be found.

I was right about to stop my horrible search for him before I kinda accidentally bumped into him.

This whole time, he sat amongst the empty chairs in the basketball court.

Seeing him after this long terrible chat kinda felt a bit awkward and unfulfilling. It kinda felt as though the search for him felt more satisfying.

I managed to make my way up to where he sat.

"Ahh, too many chairs." I said as I struggled to make my way to where he sat.

I panted heavily as I sat next to him. The climb to where he was was really tiring.

He was busy doing some random sketches of a popular Anime character, Naruto.

"Can't believe this guy didn't see me go through this hell to get to him." I complained for not having a helping hand from him.

The whole time I was unnoticeable to him, it was my shadow casted on his sketchbook that made him notice my presence.

"Hi."

"Hey."

"What you doing?" I obviously could see what he was doing, I just felt like asking.

He bends his sketchbook a bit allowing me to have a much clearer view of his art work.

"Nice." It was good.

"Ehmm, so what you doing here all alone by yourself?" The quietness was alone to spook me.

"Don't know, just wanted to be left alone, to enjoy the company of myself." He said.

It kinda sounded totally like him. Always being left alone, the quiet guy.

"Well it's too quiet if you ask me." I said leaning backward to rest my back.

"So?" He was still fixed to the art he was doing.
