𝐼𝒻 𝓉𝒽𝑒 𝓂𝑜𝑜𝓃 𝒽𝒶𝒹 𝑒𝓎𝑒𝓈. {𝐵.𝐸}

i didn't change my number.

I jolt awake as the sun beaming down on my face wakes me up, I check the time and realize I'm gonna be late for school, I quickly sat up and got on my skateboard, within minutes I was at school.

I walk in as the bell rings " this is gonna be a long day" I mumble to myself as I'm pushing past groups of kids. Everyone knows me one way or another. Whether they knew me from " the crazy bitch who's mother came to school just to cuss out an innocent boy" or they know me from my cousin Erick. Erick has always had my back, if anything goes wrong he is the first I call. Growing up he always made sure I had what I needed and I still talk to him almost every day.

I must have zoned out because next thing I know I'm in front of my Science class door "You're late." The teacher says snapping her head at the sudden presence of me, breaking me from my thought

"right...Sorry about that."

"Take a seat" I heard her say, I walked over to my desk with my friend group, most of my friends have this class, its usually the best but right now all I can think of is what happend last night. "Yo Allison" Kit says breaking me from my thought

"hm" I say staying zoned out "you good?" She asks with a concerned look overtaking her face. "O-oh yeah I'm fine." I say as I cross my arms. She give me a look, I know she know's I'm lying but I just can't help it, I don't want to talk about it.

"you have two seconds to tell me what's going on before I figure it out myself and God forbid I find the person who made you sad because this bitch is always ready to fight." She says, I chuckle a little bit knowing she most definitely will. "No Kit really I'm fine"

I say pulling my hoodie strings tightly so the hood over takes my face

"Allison" the teacher says, as I turn my head towards her, she's already staring at me " You'll be partnered with Ellie for this project"

I roll my eyes a little before responding,  "alright" I say letting out a big breath of air with it. Kit whispers in my ear " who the fuck is Ellie?"

" No clue" I say putting a fake surprised look on my face. The teacher dismisses us so we can talk to our partners. I stand up and start looking around. "Hey Partner" Ellie says from behind me "Oh my God!" I say with my hand over my heart. "You scared me!" I say as Ellie laughs, "my bad" she says "do you know how long this project is...Or what it is?" I say furrowing my eyebrows " not sure, to be honest I wasn't listening, but I think it had something to do with gravity"

Ohhh okay... the silence was so loud I had to break it. " Well see you later" I say, she furrows her eyebrows with a confused look overtaking her face "you're not gonna give me your number so we can get the project done?!"

I laugh "oh no I don't give my number out to strangers, we can do the project at school before or after classes I don't care."

She looked angry "are you trying to fail this class?!" She asked. She looked very serious. "Damn its not that serious it's just school mama's" I say walking past her towards the door. I heard her mumble something but I've got bigger tree's to chop.
I walk to the bathroom I turn towards the sink and splash some water on my face, while I was drying my face with a paper towel I heard a voice behind me.

"ahem" I jump a little, as I turn around to see Kit standing behind me. "Shit dude you scared me!" I say hitting her shoulder, She laughs a little "dude why are you so jumpy lately? You're literally the chillest person I know." She says with a concerned face. "I don't know" I mumble.

Kit's face lights up as she puts the peices together. "You got kicked out again didn't you." She says, I shake my head "nah" I say but I know she can see right through me. "Dude that's all you had to say, you can stay with me for a little" she says as she pushes my shoulder playfully

"I don't know kit I don't wanna bother you and your family." I say, she laughs "dude my family loves you, I swear my mom talks more about you than she talks about me." She gives me a sympathetic look.

"Alright I guess, I never really had a choice huh?" I ask she laughs shaking her head, "No." She says.

As the last bell rang I jumped out of my seat and ran towards the door. Ellie is standing right outside the door. "Oh shit" I say stopping in my tracks as soon as I see Ellie. "scared you?" Ellie asks sarcastically rolling her eyes a little.

"Yeah actually" I mumble. "You don't speak up much do you Alice?" Ellie asks "you sure do ask a lot of questions Ellie. Stay in your lane and we won't have any problems." I say getting annoyed. " why are you so mean to me?" Ellie asks.

Well actually that's a really good question, she didn't do anything I just don't get a good vibe from her, something's definitely off. "Maybe I'm just a mean person." I say pretty ticked off "You didn't seem so mean last night?" Ellie says

" You don't know me." I say. Ellie opens her mouth to speak but is cut off by Kit's loud mouth behind me. "Do we have a problem?" Kit asks in a serious tone. Ellie looks over at her "I don't remember you being in this conversation." Ellie says. Kit is now furious. "If you have a problem with her you have a problem with me" Kit says. "And trust me you don't want a problem with me"

"Its true" I speak up and say "She's cut a bitch for me once." Ellie's eyes grow wide at that statement. "Yeah don't fuck with her." Kit says sternly. Kit then grabs my hand and walks me to her car. "Yo you got a new car?!" I ask in a surprised voice " yeah! Just bought it! " she says with a smile.

(It was a brand new dark blue dodge challenger)

"what'd you do with your old one?" I ask as I get into the car. "What do you mean?! That shit was falling apart, I gave it to the junk yard" she laughs.

"I would have too" I say with a slight chuckle. "Soo" Kit says breaking up the comfortable silence "There's this party tonight and I want you to come with me" Kit says nervously searching my face for an answer before I say something.
