"Are you ready to eat shit?!" Billie says while putting the car in park.
"Oh no way! Last I remember you're the one who fell a million times!" I state.
"we were like ten!!" Billie yells while getting out of the car.
"yeah whatever I'm gonna be so much better at this than you!" I say sticking my tongue out.
"that's not fair when was the last time you went ice skating?!" She yells as we enter the building.
"Its actually been a few years" I laugh.
-We walk up to the counter-
"one size 7 and one siizzeee" she stops herself after dragging it out for a minute.
"are you still a size 6?" She whispers.
I laugh in response.
"yeah" I nod my head "and one size six!" She says very over confident.
The lady nods her head and grabs the skates she hands Billie the skates Billie thanks her and walks away, not before grabbing my hand.
We walk over to a bench and she sets the skates down.
"Why are we the only people here" I ask confused.
"oh I might have accidentally rented out like....The entire place.." billie says while scrunching up her nose
"Billie!" I yell as I push her shoulder " you did not! How much was that I'll pay for half!" I say looking through my wallet.
"No! It's on me! I already paid!" She yells.
"ughhhh no more surprises! Okay?" I say with begging eyes.
"I'll think about it" billie winks. God she's so annoying. I finish getting my skates laced up and I turn over to face billie.
"Are you ready?!" I say with a bright smile.
"Absolutely!" She says while standing up.
We walk over to the skating rink and I grab Billie's hand in mine. I step on the ice, holding on to the wall to gain my balance back, billie does the same but instead of getting balance she falls flat on her ass.
"AHAHA" I start to laugh
"Hey! That's not funny!" Billie exclaims as she reaches up for my hand. I grab her hand and help her up
"wow I knew you were bad at skating but I didn't know you were this bad at it" i say laughing.
"be nice Alice!" Billie says pushing away my hand from hers.
"billie stop you need my hand or else your gonna fall again!" I say sternly.
"no i don't need your hand i can do this on my own!" Billie says trying to skate away from me but falling again.
"Okay you know what!" She laughs throwing her hands up in frustration I laugh in response. I start to do laps around her even doing a leap every here and there.
"this isn't fair!" Billie yells out "you know what I give up I'm done!" Billie yells as she skates out of the rink and walks to the closest bench to start taking off her skates.
I laugh and follow after her "Billie just because it's hard doesn't mean you can just give up" I say looking over at her.
"well too bad I am, I give up." Billie says with a sigh. I flash her a sympathetic look and sit next to her.
"Do you want to go to a gas station?" I ask with a smile.
"wha- why on earth would I want to go to a gas station." Billie starts to laugh.
"because remember when we were kids? We would always go to gas stations and get a bunch of snacks-"
"oh yeah and then we would go home and watch a movie while we ate them all I remember!" Billie cuts me off and then laughs. "Yeah let's totally do that." Billie smiles.
We both take off our skates and walk to the car.

I laugh at Billies joke as we pull into a parking space at a gas station.
"Let's go!" Billie yells excitedly we both get out of the car and walk inside
"Oh my God billie its you!" I yell out to billie holding literally the ugliest stuffed animal ever.
"Wow you're an ass" billie says shaking her head and walking over to the snacks.
After we grab all of the snacks we get back into the car and start heading home.
"You know today has actually been a lot of fun... Thanks for hanging out with me."
"The day isn't even over yet ya goof! Not to mention we still have all week together." I say excited
"I know I've just really missed you."
"I'm so sorry Bil. I know I should have reached out."
"Don't blame yourself. Friendship is two sided, I'm just as responsible as you are now let's go find a scary movie to watch." She says as we pull into the driveway.
We get out of the car and head to her room. Billie closing the door behind her and throwing the bag of snacks on her bed.
"THESE ARE SO GOOD! UGH!" I moan loudly.
"You're such a goof!" She laughs.
"How about this movie?" She asks pointing to the screen.
"Sure that's fine as long as I can hide under the blanket the whole time." I laugh.
"You're such a baby!" She laughs.
"I know I know!" I smile while watching her press play.
