an old friend

"First off keep your eyes on the road because this bitch ain't ready to die yet, second off do we really have to? I mean we just went to one earlier this week." I say, Kit rolls her eyes in response.

" Pleasee? It'll be good for you to get away from reality for a little." I mean she's right I do need a distraction. "Fine, but I'm not happy about it" I say making sure she knows. She only smiles in response.

We arrive at her house, it's really nice, her family has always been there for me whenever things like this happen. Her home is my second home. We walk through the front door and are greeted by her mom.

"Ah! Mì Amour!" Her mom shouts as she sees me "ha pasado tanto tiempo como estas?" She asks "I've been better." I say being completely honest. Kit whispers to her mom " ella fue pateada de nuevo" "ohhh Mì amour" She says sympathetically. "You can stay as long as you want. You're always welcome here." She says

"gracias mama" I say with a smile on my face, Kit grabs my arm and drags me upstairs to her room. "You definitely need to change before we leave and shower cause girl you stink" she laughs, I giggle as I lift my arm up to smell my armpits, she's not wrong.

We arrive at the party "We're lateee!!" Kit drags out "its not my fault. You took forever doing your makeup!" I say laughing "whatever babe" Kit says rolling her eyes, we get out of the car and walk into the house. The smell of weed alchohol and sweat hits our noses I gag a little in response. I hate party's but I would do anything for Kit.

We walk over to a couch in the corner of what was a living room I think? The whole group is here so its not that that bad. " I'm going to the kitchen to mix some shit up" Kit yells over the loud music and walks away. I sit on the arm of the couch next to zoe drew and dominic. "Hey guys" I yell a little so they can hear me over the music "Wassup Allison!" Dominic yells over the music "you tryna hit it?" Dominic asks while holding a blunt out to me, "no thanks" I say shaking my head
"Are you Scared?" he asks sarcastically. "Shut up" Zoe and Drew say at the same time, they both laugh in response to the timing.

After a while of catching up Kit comes back with a red solo cup in her hand obviously drunk. "Let's partyyy!" She yells, we all agree and walk over to the dance floor, as we are all dancing I get extremely thirsty, " hey I'm gonna go get some water" I yell at Zoe, she nods in response. I walk over to the kitchen and find some water bottles in the fridge, I grab one and start drinking it, I start walking back to my group but I accidentally bumped into someone while walking and they spilled they're drink all over me

" dude what the f-" I say turning around to meet the eyes of the person responsible. "Oh I'm so sorr-" "Billie?" I say shocked "Allison?" She says just as if not more shocked. "dude it's been forever how are you?!" I ask, she smiles "I'm doing great! How are you?" She asked bringing me into a hug, even though the house smelt horrible when I hugged her the only thing I could smell was a strong sent of vanilla. "I've been alright!" I lie.

"We have got to hang out sometime soon!" She says pulling away from the hug "definitely!" I say smiling "could I get your number so I can call you later?" she asks. "Of course" I say handing my phone to her, she puts her number in and hands it back to me "there ya go!" "See you later!" she says "see you later!" I say as she walks away into the crowd.

"I thought you don't give your number out to strangers?" A familiar voice says from behind me.
