I sighed. Five fucking hours with the genius himself.

I feel something hit my back. I turn around to be met with a giggling Devon facing my direction. The pencil collided with the floor.

He threw a pencil at me.

Jake : Oh sorry, do you want your pencil back? I think you dropped it?

I said with hidden fake sincerity.

Devon : Sur-

The pencil hit him in the face mid-sentence.

Devon : Oh you dick!

I laughed. I kept laughing when he missed his next pencil throw.

Devon : oh shut up!

Jake : So, why were you like staring at me earlier?

Devon : I wasn't...

Jake : Yes you were, I saw you.

Devon : I was staring at the new girl.

Cory snuck in.

Cory : Thank god. You were right. Amateurs, the lot of 'em.

Cory joked as he waltzed in and sat next to me.

Jake : How did you even know I was in here.

Cory : Saw Miss Fairchild put you in here.

Cory : Damn. You're in time out.

Jake : I know! That's not even tho worst part.

I nodded behind us towards Devon.

Cory : I am so sorry for you.

Devon : I can hear you.

Cory : So, you've been a bad boy huh?

He said grabbing the collar part of my hoodie. Usually I would freak out but Devon is right there so fuck it.

Jake : What are you gonna do? Punish me?

By now, our faces were mere centimetres apart.

Cory : If it comes to that.

Devon : OKAY! CAN YOU TWO GET A ROOM.

Jake : how you feeling about sneaking into my current place of residence. We can watch some new horror movies, true crime documentaries... or I'm pretty sure Junior has a variety of board games.

I said this because, when me and Devon were dating, he would sneak into my old house and that's what we'd do.
