I held my head in my hands and groaned.

Lexy : You ever feel... powerless?

Elliot : God gave us free will, not power.

Lexy : You're christian?

Elliot : Yeah?

Lexy : But aren't you...

Elliot : Yes, I'm fully aware that god doesn't accept homosexuals and I'm also aware that I've just said I'm christian whilst smoking a joint but-

Lexy : It's cool. I just have some... religious trauma.

Elliot : Didn't you go to a catholic school?

Lexy : It was torture.

I handed it back to him. We were sat around a fire at 1:00 A.M. The fire looked pretty, I wanted to touch it.

Elliot : How so?

Lexy : I was held against my will, attemptively murdered and everyone there was crazy.

Elliot : Can't have all been bad?

Lexy : It's where me and Nadine actually started dating.

Elliot : You're always thinking about her and never talking about her. Tell me about her.

Lexy : She was... the embodiment of a flower, but not a rose or tulip, more of a sunflower. She was sweet and gentle, even to people who didn't deserve it. She was protective and defended her friends. She fought for what she believed in.

Elliot : Well then I can already tell she believed in you.

I smiled at him.

Elliot : Don't supposed you wanna... catch a train?

Lexy : I'm so stoned. My tolerance has gone to shit.

Elliot : This is only like my 5th time smoking so me too.

He flicked out the finished blunt.

Elliot : Can you walk?

Lexy : I can try. I missed being able to be this stoned so quickly. Saved a lot of money.

Elliot : How many drugs have you done.

Lexy : Not counting my mother's pharmaceuticals... I've smoked weed, snorted ket and I even did Spice once... but never again.

Elliot : What happened?
