Part of me dreaded the following morning, despite it being my idea. I could barely sleep, hoping that if I never slept, that morning would never come, but it did.

Jake : you're awake?

Jake : I feel like we should talk about... what's gonna happen.

Devon : I still want it to.

Jake : Okay. What are the like... conditions of this?

Devon : Obviously I still feel a lot for you, and I don't want this to end, but I don't know what's best for the both of us.

Jake : So, can we like... talk to other people? Like... do things with them?

Is he not satisfied with me? Is he curious about other people?

Jake : Okay. What if someone asks if we're together?

Devon : I'm not sure.

Jake : And if you still don't know?

Devon : I expect you to use it as an opportunity to do the same.

Jake : Well... if we're just friends... we should probably get out of this bed.

Devon : Hold on, I just want a few more minutes.

I wrapped my arms around him.
