I heard three light knocks on the door.

I walked over to the door and opened it. A pair of honey eyes met mine.

Jake : Hello.

Devon : Come on in.

He walked over to the lounge.

Devon : Sit.

Jake : Oop- Okay.

Devon : I have a question...

Devon : Would you be interested in... joining me for a podcast?

Jake : ... Absolutely!

Devon : Another Question, do you know how to play guitar?

Jake : I do...

Devon : Okay, i was just wondering. Follow me.

I took him to my basement room with my podcast stuff.

I showed him what I had been working on.

Jake : What's this?

Devon : My murder board. A murder board is-

Jake : I know what a murder board is. Why?

Devon : There are so many stories online that people shared and even in newspapers about a guy who went crazy. He killed his mother, his friends and strangers. Supposedly this man died but according to a log of sources like Nica Pierce he transferred his soul into a good guy doll.

Jake : What was his name, the man that went crazy?

Devon : Charles Lee Ray.

Jake : Sounds familiar. Okay so now we have some background but why? Why go after students?

Devon : Chucky's victims are all linked. Obviously we know that they are all in the same biology class but I discovered all five of his victims are descendants from other people that were murdered under mysterious circumstances.

Jake : Oh shit. So what you're saying is-

Devon : We have a serial killer on our hands.

Jake : Wait, that explains why he didn't kill Cory. Cory's not from around here.

Devon : So he has a pattern.

Jake : I think we need to get a dna test to see if we're descended from any victims.

Devon : Don't those take days.
