The next day begins as our heroes are now at the Rustboro City's Pokémon Center. Ash learns that his next Hoenn Gym Battle will be taking place at the Dewford Island according to Max via the Poke Nav.
As soon as Max tries to drink his orange juice soda, some of the juice both broke and then shuts down his Poke Nav, he doesn't let his sister, May and their friends know about this accidental moment. He heads off to get his Poke Nav by the Devon Corp
Max meets up with a man: the Devon Corp President: Joseph "Joey" Stone! He learns that the Devon Corp produces tech resources as well as the Poke Nav, it even creates Pokémon.
Joseph gets away by the way, because he's getting chased by his associate, Kennedy
Meanwhile Oak leans that Ash has defeated Roxanne. May and Brock are back from their shopping, but she has a stomach ache until she suddenly recovers so fast in a swift pace and heads off for mor shopping
Max is now at the Devon Corp and he quietly learns from Officer Jenny while in the distance:
Someone is infiltrating the Devon Corp in order to do bad things as Joseph quietly meets up with Max again
Joseph gives Max's Poke Nav to his workers so that they can fix it
Max learns that Joseph is the Devon Corp President during the middle of their tour. He also most of the inventions are not yet fully developed even a Pokémon Producing Machine.
The Pokémon Producing Machine has the ability to regenerate and revive a Pokémon back to life via the DNA samples even the Fossils.
Kennedy lets Joseph know that he has the appointments to catch up, he is tasked by Joseph that he is allowed to meet up and bring May and her friends to the Devon Corp
Someone is stealing the DNA samples as Joseph knows that he knows all of his employees but that the guy who stole the DNA samples is the infiltrator.
Joseph and Max are quietly following him
Meanwhile Kennedy revealed the reason why his boss likes Max:
May, Ash, Pikachu and Brock learn that Max reminds of his boss's son: Steven Stone
Steven Stone is a powerful Pokémon Trainer and is fond of Pokémon
Kennedy, May, Ash, Pikachu and Brock learn that the 2 Pokémon DNA samples are stolen by someone
The crock gets away by running away while Kenny and the others meet up with Max and Joseph to corner the suspect thief, which worked well
Meanwhile Jenny chases after Team Rocket
The crock calls forth his Crawdaunt to let it battle against Ash's Pikachu, but thanks to Team Rocket's interference, the crock gets away but Team Rocket gets in his away, which leads the DNA samples' capsules to fall down, but they are safely retrieved by Max.

Officer Jenny reveals that the crock that uses a Crawdaunt is from Team Aqua.
Our heroes, Joseph Stone and Kennedy learn that Hoenn has 2 villain organizations that are both evil and arch-rivals who fight and compete on each other for the role of 1 top number 1 ultimate winning villain organization, which are: Teams Magma and Aqua
Our heroes and Joseph enjoy their lunch. They learn that Steven is somewhere in the Dewford Island
Joseph secretly revealed that his workers safely fixed the Poke Nav and gives it back to Max
Max gives his good thanks to him
