As our heroes walk, Brock reveals that his bottle is out of water. He and his friends head off to a fresh water spring to get more water

Team Rocket are recharged thanks to the boxes of their water bottles. They saw our heroes.

Our heroes saw a Zubat and then a Solrock, which led them to get wrecked by a pit hole. Team Rocket at first steals Pikachu with their net, but.... A Wild Pokémon comes to his rescue.

Solrock stops Team Rocket by easily rescuing Pikachu with the Fire Spin, thus burning the net. It even shoots the Solar Beam at the villains, thus a blast off for them.

Solrock already left, our heroes wanted to thank it. As soon as our heroes head to the ruins and the town: no fresh water spring

Ash, May and Brock call forth Corphish, Skitty, Mudkip and Lotad to find water

Corphish found the jar by the way

Skitty found the flowers

Mudkip lead its friends to the well.

Lotad is down to the well and it's easily rescued by Brock, which evolves into a Lombre

An old woman named Tallulah runs up upon being excited to see Lombre and explains that whenever hardship falls on their town, the "Great Water Lord" Lombre shows himself.

Tallulah is convinced that the Solrock and the bad luck it brings is to blame and calls out some other people from one of the houses.

One of them is Mary, Tallulah's granddaughter, whom Brock immediately falls in love with. Max stops him by taking him away. She takes our heroes to her home as they get the water from her

Mary doesn't seem to share Tallulah's belief that it is the Solrock's fault, and brings the gang inside for some water. Mary explains that there is a water shortage because the source of their water, the spring that Ash and his friends found earlier, is no longer running.

The spring is believed to be where the Great Lombre Water Lord lives. The villagers think the shortage has something to do with a meteorite they saw crash near the Great Lombre's shrine, and since then a Solrock has been wandering around the area. Since then no rain has fallen, all of which makes people think it is the Solrock's fault. Mary's disagrees and is convinced that there has to be an alternate and more scientific explanation.

Mary sees that her grandmother (Tallulah,) and their neighbors are doing the Rain Dant chant of the prayers and they are still in the false impression of thinking that Solrock is "evil"

Mary and her friends vow to prove them wrong that Solrock is not evil by checking on it.

Lombre, Pikachu, Bellossom, Oddish, Seedot and Shroomish join the Rain Dance chant.

Everyone enjoyed the dance, no Rain comes to them

Brock knows that Solrock only reads people and Pokémon's minds by sensing them. In return, it will only come to those with the thoughts and feelings who are not angry at it.

True to Brock's words, he lets his Lombre dance since it has no negative thoughts.

Mary and Tallulah as well as their friends (our heroes) watch Lombre happily dance as Solrock comes to it, thus proving the fact that Brock's plan is a genius.

Skitty comes out of its Poke Ball by heading off to the cave. Mary knows the cave too well. In return, she and May reunite with Skitty, only for them to find a power generator, which is the reason why the water is sadly drained and then stolen in the first place.

Turns out, Team Rocket was behind stealing and draining the water! They learn from Wobbuffet and the binoculars by seeing something from a distance: Solrock is back, only for them to find out that it's playing with Lombre. (These villains are unaware of the fact that Lombre is actually Brock's Lotad already evolved)

May, Skitty and Mary confront Team Rocket

Solrock stops Tallulah and her neighbor friends by using Psychic, but it calms down, thanks to our heroes and their pleas,

Our heroes and their friends learned from May and Mary: the water is indeed stolen by Team Rocket

Tallulah and her neighbors learn that Solrock is an innocent Pokémon, because it's a hero. Solrock easily defeats Team Rocket again, but at what cost, it's getting out of control by spinning while using its fiery powers

Mudkip and Lombre perform a Double Water Gun at Solrock and its fire, which caused the rain clouds to be produced in the process. The rain is finally here! In reurn, Solrock is calmed down while the water is revived back to its glory

Tallulah and her neighbor friends thank Lombre and now Solrock! They even thank our heroes for helping as they say goodbyes to each other.

Our heroes head off

Meanwhile Solrock happily lives with its friends' village and the ruins as its new guardian savior in the end
