According to Max and his Poke Nav: they're going to head off to the Foothill Town to help Skitty recover well in the hopes of regaining its voice back. They went there, they learn from a nameless woman: the Foothill Town has no Pokémon Center, but it has a Pokémon Clinic, which is owned and ran by a doctor.
Our heroes come to the Pokémon Clinic, in return, they met Doctor Abbey.
Brock comes to her, only for him to be stopped by Max.
Abbey learns that May's Skitty has been infected by Torkoal's smoke and lost its voice by accident. She massages May's Skitty

She massages and treats most of the Pokémon ailments by stimulating the pressure points, which are some of the parts of the body in order to heal fatigue and the tension
Skitty breaths with its recharging voice, which will regain its voice in a day
They even saw a picture of Abbey and her own Skitty. In return, they also learn that she is a Former Coordinator.
According to Brock, the Trophy that Abbey has is the Ribbon Cup, which is the literal proof that she is the winner of the Hoenn Pokémon Contests' ultimate play-offs tournament: the Hoenn Grand Festival. It also proves one extra thing: Abbey is also a Hoenn Top Coordinator.
May remembers something by revealing her magazine: the Coordinator Monthly, which has the information about the legendary Coordinators. It even has Abbey on it. According to the same Coordinator Monthly, Abbey lives somewhere near the Verdanturf Town. The Princess Of Hoenn is so glad to finally met her
Our heroes saw Abbey's 7 Hoenn Contest Ribbons.
Abbey in-fact trained so hard with her Skitty all the time, which led them to win the 7 Hoenn Contests, earn their Ribbons and defeated all of the rounds from the Hoenn Grand Festival. They then decided to retire from doing the Coordinator lifestyle ways by traveling for a while in order to learn more about Pokémon.
Abbey's Skitty is a male and his nickname is Johnny. They battled against a Trainer and his Flygon.
In return, the Top Coordinator sadly lost, which forces Abbey to take him to the Pokémon Clinic that was ran by Dr Moss. In return, it inspires Abbey to work there. She safely convinced Moss to become his apprentice by taking all of the notes.
Abbey made some mistakes, but she nevertheless performed so well, which lead a special day to come.
Moss gives his Moon Stone to Abbey. In return, Johnny the Skitty touched it, thus evolving a Delcatty.
Johnny the Delcatty inspired his aforementioned Trainer, Abbey to work at the another, Pokémon Clinic, which is the one in the Foothill Town owned and ran by the same aforementioned Former Hoenn Top Coordinator we see today!
Our heroes ask Abbey if it's okay for them to her Delcatty. The doctor agrees as she calls forth Johnny!
Johnny meets our heroes as well as May's Skitty. The Former Coordinator gives the orange balls to it.
May keeps the orange balls, according to Abbey
Our heroes and Abbey are confronted by Team Rocket, thanks to Meowth accidentally covering his blow by talking
The villains steal the Skitty line and then get away via Seviper's Haze
According to Abbey: her Delcatty, Johnny is not happy for being kidnapped
As our heroes come to their rescue, Johnny crushed the balloon with his Solar Beam. He and Skitty come to Abbey and her friends
Ash is told by Abbey that she will let Johnny battle!

Johnny and Skitty performed a Double Blizzard on Team Rocket. Ash's Pikachu defeats the aforementioned villains with the ThunderBolt.
Our heroes thank Abbey as they head off while they saw goodbye to the Former Top Coordinator and Johnny the Delcatty
