I fell asleep waiting for Kisame to return. Itachi came back from the kitchen and shook his head then laid a blanket to cover me so I wouldn't get cold. The entrance door opened revealing Kisame. He placed his sword down and took off his cloak then looked at Itachi and noticed me asleep in the corner of the room on his mattress. He blushed slightly and turned to Itachi confused "What is she doing here?"
"She came all the way for a visit"
Kisame noticed my wrapped arm "Is she hurt?"
"Yes, she entered Konoha territory, but it is just a cut"
The shark man nodded and headed to the kitchen to prepare some food for himself "What a reckless kid"
"Well, she wouldn't be if she wasn't so attached to you" Itachi complained
"You are blaming me for this? ...you said visit, so she is here to see you too" Kisame grinned
"No, she is visiting to see you" Itachi spoke then chuckled "and here I thought you two were together"
Kisame tense up slightly "You told her that... what did she answer" He asked trying not to meet the Uchiha's eyes. Itachi smiled and sat down in front of him "She said a man like you will never like an immature brat like her and she called you cute"
Kisame frowned slighty " Cute? ...I guess she *is* still an immature brat. I thought I was just a fatherly figure to her... I never knew she thought of me more than that"
"Well, it is not like it's too late to share the feelings"
"But we are from two different worlds. I don't think I should ruin her life that way. Unlike me she enjoys living in Kirigakure and I'm not always around... I would just be hurting her" the shark man said with a sad smile
"Kisame... I know I'm not in a place to intervene with your personal life, but Fear is temporary, regret however...it lasts a lifetime. Don't be a victim of your own choices once more" Itachi spoke taking his cloak "I'll be out... you should wake her up because she has been waiting for you for 2 hours and should head back to Kiri in a few"
