I am currently helping set up the party at Sakura's house as her parents were leaving."Now Sakura your father and I are expecting this house to be in one piece when we get back." her mother said. "Yes mother." Sakura said rushing them out of the door. " And Sakura no funny business you're still my baby girl." her father said glomping her. I laughed and he looked at me. "Joselyn I expect you to keep everyone in line." he said smiling. I smiled back and said, "I will Mr.Haruno. I'll see ya when you get back!" I said as I set out snacks and drinks. "Ok see you two when we get back." Sakura's mother said as they left."UGH I thought they'd never leave!" Sakura huffed as she just noticed something. "Hey Joselyn can you finish I have to go meet Ino in like one minute?! I have to go bye!" she said as she ran out the door. I sighed and sat on the floor since I was almost done. One thing you should know is that my parents have been missing in action for 4 years. The village is still looking but I have given up on ever getting them back. But before they left they gave me a ring that I've worn ever since. As I zoned out I didn't see that a bunch of people had popped up into the house.I shot up and took a battle stance. 'The Akatsuki!' I thought as I ran at the tallest member, Kisame. He took Samehada off his back and swung it at me. I jumped and landed on Samehada and took it from Kisame's hands. The look of shock on everyone's face was PRICELESS! I laughed and held Samehada in front of me protectively. Then I stood it up to my side and leaned on it. "Kisame nice to see you again. Last time I saw you, was about 5 years ago! I heard you guys would come, but I didn't think you'd show.'' They all still stood there astonished. I turned around and resumed setting up, "Well don't just stand there. Help me!" I said looking at them. They scrambled to start helping as Kisame tried to reach for Samehada, but I snatched it with my chakra strings."Ah ah ah Kisame. There is no use for that. No violence equals no Samehada." I said smacking his arm. 'Damn I have balls of steel!' I thought as I sat down on the couch as there was a half an hour until the party started. "Damn! You sure are looking for death, un!" Deidara said smiling. The whole akatsuki chuckled as I smiled. "Maybe I am. I've got nothing to live for." I said getting up to get a drink. "Of course you have something to live for, everyone does. I know how you fe-'' Pain said. I froze where I was standing and turned to face him. I narrowed my eyes at him and said, "I don't need to hear anything from you! At least you knew where or why your parents died or if they were even dead!" I then started to remember how I got they missing report and ran up the stairs to a random room, sitting there to cry my eyes out.3rd person POVThey watched her run up the stairs and Konan stood. "I should go talk to-" "No," Kisame interrupted. "I'll go." He climbed the stairs and walked down the hall. He stopped at a door which was left open a crack. He heard sobbing but what he saw shocked him. Samehada has come out of its wrapping and was... comforting Joselyn. As he walked in she saw him then turned to look out of the window. The birds, the people, the flowers, they all looked so happy but her face was the definition of loneliness. "Listen I'm sorry for what Pa-" "No. It's fine. He meant well. But it's just that, I don't have that many people in this world that care for me. The ones that I do have I thank god for, but without... never mind. You're probably not interested anyway."Joselyn said.Kisame felt bad for this girl. This girl who gave so much just to lose everything. The cuts on her wrists and the tears in her eyes just added to her shaking body. Kisame walked over to her and sat down next to her turning her to face him. She still wouldn't look him in the eye as tears continued to fall. He took his hand and wiped away her tears as he tilted her head up. He looked into her eyes as she looked into his. Her lip started to quiver and she cried harder as Kisame pulled her into his chest. "I missed you. I miss them. I don't know what to do with myself anymore." Joselyn said gripping Kisame's cloak.The last time he had saw her she was so happy and full of life, now that her parents had gone missing she is a mess. He pulled away and looked at her, "What should I do? I can't keep living like this day to day. Watching and waiting for the inevitable news that my parent were found dead or the search is over! I can't do it anymore! I know I'm not my normal self, but I can't help it. It's so hard being alone. Living alone, sleeping alone, eating alone, and knowing that you're all alone in a whole world of people. I can't bare it." she said. Kisame thought fo a moment then spoke."When I visited you years ago, you had this ring. This ring is from your parents. And you remember this ring?" he asked taking a ring off his finger. "You gave this to me before I left. Ever since then I have stayed alive... for you. I need you and you need me. I'll stay here with you and help you through this. We will get through this together." He said smiling. Joselyn had calmed down and smiled back at him. Then they heard Sakura come through the door and Joselyn decided that she should go home. "I'll go with you." Kisame said as they jumped out of the window and on the roofs of houses. Once we had reached my house that I lived in alone we walked in."Home sweet home!" I said walking in. I dropped my keys and flopped on the couch. "I remember this house, its been a while." Kisame said moving my feet do he could sit. "Sure has. Last time I saw you, you could actually walk through a door." I said and laughed. He laughed too and leaned back to look at the ceiling. He took off his cloak and threw it on me and I almost suffocated. I pulled it off my face and said "Really?! I almost died." He just nodded with one eye open looking at me. I huffed over dramatically and layed across his lap. "So you guys are going back after the party right?" I asked. "I don't know. It depends on what happens tonight." Kisame said laughing a little. "So basically it depends if pein gets some or not?" I said with a smirk. "Yup." Kisame said."Well what about you?" I said. Kisame looked at me, "What about me?" he asked. "Well there has to be someone that you like. Even if it's Konan." I laughed. His eyes went wide "It is not Konan! Pain would kill me!" he said. Then I jumped on him, straddling him so he was forced to look at me. "So there is someone! You just said it wasn't Konan. Now tell me!" I said squishing his face. A blush crept up his face as he looked away. I smirked at his shyness. I bounced up and down like an impatient child and he snapped his neck to look at me.He grabbed my waist and pulled me forward. His lips smashed against mine in a feverish frenzy. I closed my eyes and slid my hands up his toned chest and into his spiky blue hair. I took a fistful of his hair and pulled it. He moaned and twisted us so he had me pinned to the couch. I broke the kiss and he held his forehead to mine. "I'm not leaving." Kisame said smiling. "What?!" I shouted as I looked at him wide eyed. "I talked to Lady Tsunade and I can stay here, with you." My eyes watered, tears threatening to spill as I pulled him down in a bone crushing hug. "I love you Joselyn, I want you to know that." Kisame said. "I love you too. Thank you Kisame." I said.
