I embraced my body to feel the piercing sensation through my chest until Pein's metal stake was blocked by sharp scales breaking it to bits.

I opened my eyes to see Samehada wrapping around my body productively as Kisame dropped from the nearby trees with a frown.

"Planning to round us up like animals if we go haywire huh?....typical of you. But killing a loyal follower, that's low, even for you guys, regardless that you are already the lowest of low" Kisame said pulling me behind him defensively.

I frowned "Kisame don't interfere with my business!! I follow orders to the letter and if that means my death, then so be it!"

"How honorable...from a weak pest to full-fledged shinobi....I bet that's what Zabuza said" he said giving you a smirk then continued "Sadly for you Joselyn, you *are* my business and no one interferes with my girl, no matter what the cause or who the person is"

I blushed slightly at those embarrassing words "Ignore him!! I'm not his girl. Just kill me already and end this!!"

"If you want to kill her, you will have to go through me, but then you will be losing two loyal followers...isn't that right Madara san?" Kisame smirked

Pein and Konan looked at the masked man worriedly not knowing what to do in this case.

"Kisame you are a full-grown man and part of the seven swordsmen. What made you suddenly, so soft for this mere woman? You have been in a similar situation before, but you didn't hesitate to kill...why is this so different?" Madara spoke

"You accepted me in the Akatsuki so I can be your eyes and ears on Itachi and all the other members, and I swore by my life to be loyal and do want is best for this organization. Aside from personal feelings, Joselyn has proven to be extremely beneficial to the Akatsuki and letting her go is a foolish move" Kisame explained

"The members are all wanted criminals, but she isn't. Infiltration can be a 100% success, if we used a regular face instead of a wanted one" Kisame said proudly lifting your chin to prove his point.

Madara looked at Pein and the latter nodded. "Very well then we shall accept her as an official member. I don't need to remind you two that this meeting is completely confidential to anyone, including the other members. You are all dismissed"

Kisame smirked "Thank you for making the right decision"

Madara's red orb gleamed and he disappeared in a swirl through his eyes as Zetsu sunk into the ground. "Meet up with Konan tomorrow to get your outfit and ring Joselyn "Pein said and left with Konan.

I looked at Kisame confused "You...defended me? why?"

He smirked and pulled me close "Yeah, it's a shame because now I'm forced to be stuck with you 24/7, 365 days a year"

I smiled and wrapped my arms behind his neck forcing him to lean down to look him in the eyes "I guess I owe you now...I've never owed someone anything in my life before"

He smiled and carried me up wrapping my legs around his waist and pinned me to a tree "I know how you can repay me"

He chuckled and kissed me softly "You are tougher than I imagined...getting Madara and Pein to personally ask for your help, while you orchestrated these missions and ideas alone to tame the members....so mischievous and wicked...who knew little Joselyn grew up to be so amazing...Zabuza would be proud" he teased

I chuckled "Well catching prey is my specialty"
