Romina felt so much guilt that it was trying to eat her from the inside out. She always feared that something like this would happen. She even tried to get Elowyn to come with her a few times but she always said no and that it was safer so they didn’t come looking. Now though the fear was a reality and it all happens tomorrow. A shiver ran up her spine as Khloris kept talking but her mind was elsewhere. She has seen bits and pieces of this so far but never a good outcome.

After Khloris was done talking they released her from the tree and said they would be back.

“Just so you don’t try anything till then.” Romina said, putting her hand into a fist.

“What do yo…” Khloris didn’t have time to finish until Romina knocked her out.

“Was that really necessary?” The two asked, looking at her and laughing, making Romina laugh back at them as they turned walking back home.

“Ohh definitely been wanting to do that for awhile!”

It was quiet now as they got deeper into the woods Romina knew why though deep down. She has kept a good amount from them, one being that she was a princess and that she is starting to get her powers. Finally after about a mille more Annika broke the silence looking Romina in the eye.

“Are we just ignoring what Khloris said back there?”

“We are getting our stuff and getting a little rest before breaking in to save Elowyn.” Romina said not looking at Annika knowing she was still staring at her.

“You know what I mean.” Annika said in an annoyed tone, stepping in front of Romina and stopping her in her tracks.

“What do you want me to say!”

“I don’t know maybe about you being a princess and how you were able to read   Khloris' mind.”

Jovina has been silent the whole way she wanted to know but understood why Romina wouldn't have told them, she was still hiding things too.

“My dad wasn’t a good man. He locked me away so he didn’t have to hang me and that’s why Elowyn is in trouble now. She broke me out and helped me escape and that's when I met you. I didn’t want to tell you because I liked not being in that life anymore. I felt human and cared for. I also wanted to do it to protect all of you.”

Annika just looked at Romina, her anger on her face now changing to an empathetic look sighing before she spoke again.

“Romina I’m sorry that happened, you would have never been looked at differently by us. I am sorry if you thought that but I still don’t get how you could read Khloris mind. Does it have something to do with your past life?”

Jovian knew exactly why this was happening since she was able to have the same dream as Romina. They talked about it in their dream but Annika doesn;t know any of that yet and she probably wouldn't for a while.

“It is about my eighteenth birthday.” Romina said, looking at Jovian then to the ground.

“What about it?” Annika asked as they started to walk again.
