The Eclipse Princess

Chapter nineteen

              Khloris was trying hard not to show the king she cared but when he left all she could think about is how she did it again. Following the same habits like she did when it happened with her and Romina all thoes years ago. Soon she snapped herself out of it though because she told herself when she was doing this that this time it will be different, this time she has a plan. 

          Vitius took Annika down to the chamber where Jovian was still being held and put her where Romina was when she still was Romina and not some brain washed servant to them. When he got her up there soon after Annika started to regain conscientious and wake up looking around her to figure out what happened and where she was. She doesn’t wanna believe that Khloris did that, not after everything between them in the woods but when she was where she was it was pointless to think otherwise of her. 

           Looking around her vision was still messed up after being hit uncautious but she could see Jovian by her trying not to cry but giving her a big smile. Annika smiled back but quickly avoid her eyes and moved them towards the king himself where he was just staring at her. His eyes looked cold with no feeling left behind them, just darkness. 

                        “Welcome back.” Vytis says 

                                “Wish I could say it was a pleasure but I think we know the answer to that one.” “Annika said.

                                “Yes indeed we do.” The king says laughing 

                               “Where is Romina? What did you do, what even is your end goal?” Annika says.
               
                               “My end goal? Hmmm well for starters getting rid of all of you so I can have my daughter back without issues.” 
               
                               “That’s a lie!!!” Jovian screamed at him jerking at the chains that held her in place on the wall. 

                               “What do you mean?” The king and Annika said moving there eyes in her direction.

                               “Romina told me everything! You just wanna use her. You been training her since she was little, keeping a secret from her because you knew this would happen. Romina has a gift and you wanna use that to stop a war but that means you would give your daugher to some guy because she has to marry someone and you won’t let her marry who she wants!” Jovian said.

                              “Well said, guess she really told you everything. You left out one part though.” Vytis says.

                              “Oh yeah? What’s that?” 

                              “Power!” Vytis says

                              “What?” Annika questions.

                             “Since she is under our control again she gets to give some of her power to anyone, doesn’t have to be the guy. In this case it will be me and my queen.”

                            “Wait till they know what she is…” Jovian said under her breath.

                            “WHAT WAS THAT?” Vytis said getting a dagger and running at her holding it to Jovian’s neck.

                            “Nothing!” Jovian said

                            “That is what I though.” The king says as he walks out of the chamber. 

      The two girls go silent for a little bit trying to process all that happened and if thry are actually with eachother now or not. They both have been though so much since they saw eachother last. With a lot more that they still have to go through but this time they are together again. 

                    “Jovian? You okay?” Annika said.

                   “Fine, just worried about everyone else.” Jovian said

                   “Me to.” Annika said

                  “How did you even get her…”

      Before Jovian and Annika were able to catch up a familiar face walks into the room but they are both not happy to see them. They come in the room and sit down in front of both of them with there head down the whole time they are doing it. Until Annika says that this is the reason on why she is here right now and the person looks up. 

                  “Im sorry…” Khloris says 

                         “Can it! I thought we were becoming friends but I was wrong.” Annika says.

                         “We are.” Khloris says.

                         “I think we have a different definition for friends. Friends kinda dont enslaved other friends.” 

                         “It was apart of my plan.” Khloris says 

                         “What plan?” Jovian cuts in. 

                         “I was going to get you guys both out of here and we can say Romina.” 

                       “How are we going to do that? Your the kings pet.” Annika said.

                      “Leave it to me.” Khoris says, “I really am sorry though, to all of you.” Khlois says before walking out of the chamber.

      Khloris goes to make her plan on how to get the two out of the chamber and a plan to get Romina. She is also planning on telling Annika that she may like her. The bad new she keeps finding with her plan though is that they are missing one person. 

         The spell that the queen is different then regular spells, instead of a stupid true loves kiss there has to be three people with a strong connection to her that need to pull her out of the spell. They have to tell stories on what she means to them and help her remember. She knows that now she is not one of thoes three people that is needed but that she know someone who is but that person is still in the woods. 

    That means that the only way the plan will work is if she somehow gets them out without being spotted and get them to the woods. Sadly they have to leave Romina for now until they can get the last key to the spell and that she has to stay here and help the king not catch on to what is going on so that the plan can work or so she doesn’t end up by them or worse, dead.
