"Yes, son? Are you finally deciding to move here with us or you're going to ask if there's anymore room in your bedroom?" Mrs Park asked as soon as she answered her son's call. Jihoon looked at his phone screen. He really did called his mom. And it is his mom's voice who answered his call. How did she know what he's going to asked?
"How are you, mom?" Jihoon asked.
"Just get straight to the point, son. I know you're not calling me just to ask me how I'm doing or how your dad is doing. We're doing just fine. So just tell me. The first one or second," Mrs Park said. Jihoon sighed. He looked at his collections in front of him. There are manga collections, figurines, and even albums. When did he collect all of these? He didn't even remember.
"Second," Jihoon said.
"Why? Did you waste you money that much that there are no room left in your room there? The last time me and your dad visited, there are still quite a lot of spaces left and Junkyu even took the small room there," Mrs Park started to nag.
"It's not like that, mom. There are still a lot of spaces left here. But, I'm going to move out," Jihoon said.
"Why?! Did you and Junkyu fought or something? I'm sure it's you who started it. I don't care. Apologize and make up to Junkyu. He's a sweet kid. And what I'm going to say to his mom if you guys fighting, huh?" Mrs Park asked.
"Jihoon have a fight with kyukyu?" Jihoon heard his dad's voice asking at the end of the line.
"No, mom, dad. We're not fighting," Jihoon said.
"Then?" Mr Park asked.
"Junkyu got transferred to Japan for his work and he'll going to move out. The rent for this house is too high if it's only me who lives here. That's why I'm going to find another place to move out to. But the rent for those place that have enough spaces for my collections and future collections are pretty high as well," Jihoon said. "That's why if I can move some of my current collections back to out home, I might can find a much smaller place with lower rent,"
"You know that you barely can even walk inside your bedroom here, right? With all the cabinets and boxes. You always sleep in the guest room whenever you're back home," Mrs Park said.
"What about we sell out your comics? I'm pretty sure there's a lot of used bookstores that are willing to take it in," Mr Park said.
"Those are for my work reference. We definitely can't sell it. Never," Jihoon said.
"You can find everything on the internet nowadays. I feel like it's only you who still keeping the paperback copies of those things," Mrs Park said.
"It's different, mom. Reading it online and having a physical copy. It's different. It shows how I appreciate those series and support the creators," Jihoon said.
"Whatever you said. But there are no more space to put things in your room and you definitely can't put your books or anything other than in your bedroom in my house. And if you did, I won't be responsible to any damage done to your books or anything when the kids coming over to my house," Mrs Park said. The kids she's referring to are Jihoon's cousins' kids who Mrs Park look after for sometimes and their friends. Jihoon almost forgotten about that. "So. When are you going to visit us?"
"I'll call you later," Jihoon said without answering to his mom's question before he ended the call. Before he could put his phone down, he got another call. An unknown number. Jihoon answered the call. "Hello?"
"Are you free today?" a familiar voice asked. It's Choi Hyunsuk. Jihoon remembered that he haven't gave Hyunsuk his number the last time they met.
"How did you get my number?" Jihoon asked him back.
