"So... You're really finally going to leave me," Jihoon softly mumbled. There's a lot of things, a lot of questions in his mind. Why? Why now? But it's his fault too. For making the person who openly likes him to wait that long. So, it's natural for him to get tired of it someday. He didn't intend to even say it out loud but because of their distance, Hyunsuk can hear his words.
"Huh?"
"You finally say the words you haven't said to me for days. And you even kissed me again. Just for you to leave," Jihoon said. It's quite painful for him to endure it. He just realized his feelings. No. He just finally wants to accept the feeling he had toward Hyunsuk and he's going to leave him. Maybe he took too long to finally admit it. Hyunsuk has been waiting for months, he has liked him for over 10 years. It's not even a short amount of time. And if Hyunsuk finally decided to leave, Jihoon shouldn't even blame Hyunsuk for doing so. It's him, the one who should get the blaming. He has no idea how long he has tortured Hyunsuk's heart, hurting him with his words. Most people will leave him just after a few weeks but Hyunsuk stayed for way longer than he ever expected.
"What do you mean?" Hyunsuk asked. He then just noticed something. He looked at the luggage and the boarding pass in his hands. "Wait! I think you misunderstood something,"
"Huh?" This time it's Jihoon who's confused.
"When I was preparing the dinner, Jaehyuk suddenly called me asking where I was. He said that he's already at the airport waiting for me. I just remembered that I actually have a flight to Jeju for a program there today. I really didn't expect it to be today," Hyunsuk said.
"You're not actually leaving me?" Jihoon asked.
"Are you crazy? How could I leave you? I haven't even surrendered to trying to make you fall for me," Hyunsuk said. "I'll be back in 3 days if there's no major problem. So, make sure that you'll miss me,"
"Wha-" Before Jihoon could say anything, Hyunsuk's phone rang.
"Ah! It's my taxi. Make sure to eat your dinner. I'm sorry I can't join you for today. Don't skip breakfast. Make sure to wake up on time because I probably will be too busy that I couldn't even call you to wake you up. Ugh! I really don't want to go, to be honest. I'll need to be away from you for days. Sadly I already submitted the consent form and I can't just cancel it," Hyunsuk said while pulling his luggage toward the front door. Jihoon is still confused about what's currently happening. He just followed Hyunsuk toward the front door. Hyunsuk stands up after wearing his sneakers and faces Jihoon. "Do you have something else to say?"
"Huh?"
"You look like you wanted to say something. What is it?" Hyunsuk asked.
"Oh," Jihoon sighed. "I told you that we have to talk tonight after dinner. But you need to catch your flight now,"
"About what?"
About his feelings toward Hyunsuk. That Jihoon likes Hyunsuk too. That he cared about Hyunsuk probably as much as Hyunsuk did. That he regretted that he had been pushing Hyunsuk away. Acting like Hyunsuk's feelings is not valid. He want to apologize that he always hurt Hyunsuk's feeling either it's intentionally or not. He wanted to treat Hyunsuk better. He wants to be a better person for Hyunsuk. But for some reason, he couldn't find the courage he had gathered to say that.
"You're going to come back to me, right?" Jihoon asked.
"Well. Definitely," Hyunsuk said. He looked at his phone because someone was calling him. It's the taxi he ordered calling him again. Hyunsuk sighed. "Ugh. I need to go now. Let's talk when I'm done with this program,"
"Alright," Jihoon nodded. "Safe flight,"
"Hm," Hyunsuk opened the door but he didn't walk out right away. He walked back toward Jihoon, tiptoed and kissed Jihoon on his lips again. "I like you so much, Park Jihoon. Please like me back. Okay. Bye,"
