Lo'ak and I had been travelling for hours now, we felt the air change from hot to humid telling us we were nearly home.

We had swapped roles half way through the journey as Lo'ak was getting tired so I was now controlling the Ikran and Lo'ak's arms were wrapped tightly around my waist making it extremely hard to control the Ikran and focus on where we were going.

We see our village coming into view in the distance creating a huge smile plaster on my face.
'Not long now,' I shout back to Lo'ak over the windy terrain.

Our ears perk up, what is that noise?

We hear an engine approaching from behind us.

Demon ships.

'Mai!' Lo'ak yells at me as I dove our Ikran down trying to get us out of sight from the Sky People. We hear a boom beside us. Guns. This startles our Ikran making me lose control as he flails around. I feel the arms slip from around my waist. I look down and see Lo'ak plummeting to the ocean below.

'Lo'ak!' I yell.

How could I be so stupid. I will the Ikran to fly to the ocean to collect Lo'ak from the ocean. This was time consuming. I look back worriedly at the ship approaching us, close this time.

Another boom goes off causing the Ikran to flail once more making him dive into the ocean, breaking the bond immediately. I find Lo'ak in the water and sign to him that we need to get out of here.

Whilst doing so, a net approaches from above us encasing Lo'ak and I inside. Our bodies were squashed against each other in the enclosed space and we both feel for our knives to cut us out of this situation, but it was too late. We were being dropped onto the decks of the front of the ship.

'Hold your fire,' An avatar male shouted, 'they ain't no use to me dead.' This is the same man that made us leave our clan in the first place.

'Kurkung.' Lo'ak hisses at the man, calling him an asshole.

'Glad we meet again, we know exactly where your father is, I'm sure he'll be extremely happy to see you again.' Quaritch smirked in triumph.

We were freed from the net but held captive again on the railings of the half ship half boat.

'Now we haven't met, ain't you a pretty lil'thang' Quaritch looked at me bringing his gun up to my face to turn my head.
'Fuck you,' I spat baring my teeth at him hissing loudly.

'No, you're not his, you're full Na'vi aren't you sweetheart. Got yourself a girlfriend Sully?' He questioned with a laugh at Lo'ak's failed attempts to free himself to attack. He walked off leaving Lo'ak and I tied up. I say a silent prayer to Eywa to help us and I know Lo'ak was doing the same.

'Be brave,' Lo'ak says to me giving me a soft smile.

Hours passed and my wrists started to ache with the tightness of the straps. The air turned hot once again telling us we were getting closer to the Reef Clan.
Quaritch stepped out from inside of the ship and made his way over to Lo'ak and I.

He grabbed me by the neck tightly causing my airways to close. I choke as he rips my neck communicator off me and placing it on himself.

'Jake Sully, you hear me son?'

Lo'ak and I couldn't hear if there was a reply but judging from the grin placed on his face we guessed Jake had responded.

'Speaking of sons, I have yours! And his girlfriend too. You want me back, you come out here. Alone.'

Fear bubbles inside of me at what he plans on doing with Lo'ak's father, but I have trust in Jake, he's a warrior, he knows what he is doing.

A few minutes pass and we see Jake arriving on an Ilu,. We see bubbles from the depths of the ocean. He's not alone. I shoot Lo'ak a knowing look and he looks at me telling me he has noticed too.

Quaritch notices Jake approaching and brings a gun straight to Lo'ak's head pressing it into his temple.
'I will not hesitate to execute your son Sully, you betrayed me. I will not hesitate.' Quaritch yelled as soon as Jake was in hearing range.

A tear rolled down my cheek as I lock eyes with Lo'ak. His eyes were filled with fear that he was about to be shot right before me. I pray again to Eywa that she will keep this boy alive.

Gun shots woke me from this prayer as I look up and see the Metakiyina clan charging towards the ship. I see no sign of Jake anymore. Lo'ak and I were still strapped up dodging bullets that were being flown past us.

Neteyam was all of a sudden in front of us, shooting his bow in multiple directions in a proud stance. When he was finished he strolled over to us, his hair having a mind of its own.

'Ah mighty warriors, your humble servent coming to save your Skxawng asses once more.'

Lo'ak smiles at the comment from his brother but tries to stifle it with an eye roll.

'Bro!' Lo'ak jumped up at the same time as me yelling 'Neteyam!'

He uses his knife to cut us free and I rub my wrists which were on fire from the strain.
I see Lo'ak step over the bodies as if he is searching for something. He picks up a gun earning a chuckle from Neteyam.

'Bro you don't know how to uses that.'
'Yeah, I do. Dad taught me.'
Neteyam raises his hands up as if to say 'sure'

'Let's go, before someone gets hurt.' I say making my way to the edge of the boat about to jump off.

It was at that moment a gun shot went off from behind us and I heard a clunk as if it had entered flesh.
I daren't turn round.

I dreaded what I would see before me.

I slowly turn round and dissect the scene I see before me, my eyes wide.
