We all greet Payakan at the same time as Lo'ak and I aren't as quick in the water as Tsireya who was guiding Kiri, Neteyam and .. Tuk? What the hell was Tuk doing here? I swear these boys drag her into danger at any given moment.

There is something wrong with Payakan and we notice it straight away, he shows us his back which had a human device stuck into his rough skin deeply, identical to the one Jake showed us earlier.

'If a Tulkan has one of these they're marked for death.'

Jake's words rung in my ears, is this the loved one in danger my parents warned me about? Or, Eywa warned me about. I shake my head to rid my thoughts and hop onto Payakan's back helping Lo'ak pull the device out.

'Good to see you again brother,' I signed to Payakan. 'Again?' Lo'ak exclaimed. 'I'll tell you later' I said to Lo'ak with strain in my voice and we continued to try and pull the device out. The others were on his back now too helping us.

We finally got it out after using a multiple amount of ways.

'Demon Ships!' Neteyam yelled pointing in the distance. We all scrambled off Payakan back into our Ilu's to swim away from the danger.

'GO,' Neteyam yelled. 'I'll re direct them!' He waved the device above his head plunging into the depths. Worried I hopped onto my Ilu and followed the others who were swimming deep underwater to a section of the ocean which had huge leaves to hide us with.

It was too late, an underwater team of Sky People had already entered the water and were searching for us in their big machines which carried huge lights. We sat there like deer in the highlights basically asking to be caught.

'We have to split.' Tsireya signed to us in the water. She took off with Kiri leaving me Tuk and Lo'ak to dive the other ways. I watch Tuk try and sign to me. I got the word 'air' and we swam up to a leaf that hid us and allowed us to catch our breaths.

Lo'ak punches the side of the leaf when we reach the surface in anger. We all catch our breath, but the peace didn't last for long as we heard a demon ship fast approaching.

'Lo'ak call it it NOW' I yell at him to use his neck device to contact his father for help.

'I've tried Mai, it's got too much water damage, I can't. It's just us out here now. We must fend for ourselves,' Lo'ak tells me causing Tuk to whimper. We all took a deep breath and entered to the water once again taking our knifes out of the sheaths attached to us ready for battle.

Twelve lives I've taken. It's a guilt I carry with me to this day but I will not hesitate to kill again for this family.

We swim by the main ship and peek over the edge to see what was going on. Neteyam and Tsireya were fighting them with guns they'd found and their sharp knives. I cover Tuck's eyes and see Kiri swimming up to us. I reach over and pick Tuk up putting her on the back of Kirk's Ilu.

'Go, tell Jake and the Clan what's happening. Tuk doesn't need to be here for this.' I tell Kiri to which she nods in agreement and swims off to the shore. It was a half an hour swim, giving us an hour to stay alive.

'We need to get in there Lo'ak, we need to help them,' I tell him gravely and he nods back at me.

'I know, I'm trying to figure out the best possible way to approach it.'

I watch as Quaritch comes out. I bare my teeth immediately, remembering the time Lo'ak was shot on this very ship.

'Mawey, ma mai, mawey,' Lo'ak tells me shooting my a warning look knowing I'm wanting to do something stupid and reckless.

'How can you tell me to be calm when that's the asshole that shot you?' I hiss back at Lo'ak a wide angry look in my eyes that Lo'ak doesn't see often.

Tsireya was all of a sudden plunging into the ocean next to us.

'Where's Neteyam? What's going on?' I say looking at Tsireya in shock that she'd managed to escape.

'He's right behind me,' she pants breathless and hops onto the back of my Ilu ready to flee the scene. My heart breaths a sigh of relief when I see Neteyam plunging into the ocean next to us like Tsireya had just done.

Lo'ak yells out a battle cry and high fives us excitedly for this battle win.

Neteyam surfaces his face as white as sheet.

'Skxawng. I'm shot.'
