Dead or Alive

Just a quick notice I will be trying to make the first season games go a bit quicker apart from this one because this is the first so it's important. Also, I have had ppl request Arisu and banda so maybe I can have the reader meet banda a bit earlier before the jack of hearts and them meet him again at the jack of hearts game elater on, then Arisu could be a love interest then if anyone wants anybody else we could always have usagi steal Arisu away from us 🤧 Enjoy!

The elevator doors open up revealing a small enclosed room with no windows. The only tow things that the room contains is two doors that are labelled 'Live' and 'Die'. The phone screens then once again reveal another message from the monochrome woman voice.

~Round 1 will now commence, you have 2 minutes~

You all shuffled out of the elevator and into the room to get a closer look at the doors. "Is this really a game?" Chōta said, visibly joking. He lifted up the phone in his hand and began to record a video "I think this is getting really exciting!" He spoke with a laugh. Karube let out a scoff and rolled his eyes whilst Arisu couldn't help smiling back. Looking around I could see that the woman whose name she had not mentioned and the girl were not finding this funny at all, in fact the girl seemed more nervous and the other woman more seirious.

You didn't like the vibe this woman gave off but you respect her for valuing her own life. "These must be doors to an.. art gallery!" Chōta laughed, I certainly found this incredibly boring just standing there in the room doing nothing. The clock was ticking and nobody had even made a move. "I... I want to go home.." I look at the poor girl, she seemed so sweet but you were not one for comforting so you just ignored her and let chōta do all the reasurring.

Karube and Arisu were talking among themselves about the doors when the timer announced it was only 1 minute left. Arisu looked around and locked eyes with the woman "So, what happens if we choose the wrong door?" Instead of an answer to his question she layed eyes onto the live door "It's live." I gave her a side glance and managed to actually say something to her "How do you know that?" I wasn't sure which door it was either, but how could she know it could be live door? She hesitated for a moment and started stuttering with her reply. It was clear it was just a guess.

"Do you smell that?" Karube questioned with a sniff. I also smelled something unusual.. gas. "Is that fire?" I heard one of the boys yell. The contain began to become outloud.. 20 seconds remaining....10 seconds remaining..everyone began to panic, even the woman who just a few moments ago seemed fine. "ITS LIVE!" she yelled above the rest.

The high school student spoke out "I can't take this anymore, I can't breath!" She ran over to the live door and opened it up only to get shot in the head with a laser. Everyone, including myself looked at her dead body in quite a bit of astonishment. The lady then moved forward and entered the die door. "Is she dead..?" I heard poor Chōta say, he was paralyzed with fear and in any moment this gas is gonna blow him to bits! We all began to leave the room, Arisu having to drag Chōta out.

"Is everyone okay?" Arisu asked the small group. You locked eyes with him and gave him an awkward smile and thumbs up to reassure that everyone seemed fine. (Except that poor girl obviously) You felt bad for the young girl, she was obviously only small girl because she was wearing uniform. For her to die like that was such a pity and you couldn't help but feel a little sorrow for her loss.

~time limit is now 1 minute and 50 seconds~

The time limit has gone down 10 seconds, probably does that every round.. Karube, seemingly angry walked straight up to the woman "She's dead because of YOU!" He snapped at her. "No, your alive because of me!" She replied back with an angry tone "She died so you could live!" I looked at her in a strange way and replied to her sentence with "if you put it like that, she is the reason we are alive right now, not you?" She gave me a glare and looked away into the corner. She valued her life, sure, but I hated how she acted above everyone else when really she was just being selfish.

They all began to stress on which door is next. That's when the woman stupidly blurted out "I think they want us to choose a sacrifice! Maybe, it doesn't matter which door is opened, just who opened it." I scoffed at her theory, it was stupid and she was getting on my nerves. She thinks she can just walk in here and kill everyone off?

"You are the one that got that girl to die so, how about you open the next door!" Arisu glared at her. I had respect for Arisu, as much as he was clumsy and panicks easily, he has an intelligent mind and I can tell that form most of his actions, he just needs to snap out of his panick state first. The woman locked eyes with Arisu and began blabbering on about how her life over everyone else's is something for mankind blah blah blah.

Arisu finally stepped up "I will open to door!" I raised an eyebrow at his sudden bravery but after about a few seconds he sank at the bottom of the 'Die' door in frustration. "See, not so easy is it! You would of sacrificed that girl to!" The annoying woman began speksing again, Karube snapped at her "SHUT THE F*** UP!" she sure did shut up. He walked over to the 'live' door. "Arisu was never that lucky anyways, if I make it then you are going next" he says pointing at the woman.

He opens the door and rushes inside, everyone else follows behind, I went in last and my bag got caught on fire which really downed my mood. I had ate most of the snacks anyways without even realising but that bag had some useful stuff. Whilst everyone was frustrating once again about the doors and arguing you managed to at least pick up your water filter from your burnt bag. Nothing else rlly made it apart from your father's old pocket knife.

Seeing this pocket knife made you think about him, your father. The fire made it no worse.. You remember hearing on the news about the train, how multiple passengers on the train that survived ended up with life changing burns from a fire caused in the engine.

You looked up and realised you had been thinking for a while as when you looked up you just in time caugh Karube punch Arisu in the face. You wasn't listening so had no idea what was going on but that was when you heard Arisu muttering, he started talking about the BMW235 outside the building. "The answer is Die!" He said whilst confidently opening the door.

I began to catch on to what he was thinking and realised how he knew, he started to tell everyone how he knew and crossed off boxes on a price of paper. "That means the answer is Die." I butted in, we all ran into the room with only a couple of seconds left and made it.

One by one you would go threw each door making it every time, that was until you got to the last door. Arisu notice how he might of missed something so you all watched the tape, after figuring it out you made it threw the door but Chōta got his leg caught on fire.

You all scattered as quick as u could outside of the building in the last remaining seconds.
(You guys should know what happens after that 😅)

Thankyou everyone for reading this, it was alot more longer than the other two I did and was pretty much just me writing up the whole episode but I promise to make the next one more interesting 😯
