"That's not funny!" Arisu complains. "It wasn't a joke." I shout back. I hear people yelling behind us. The Queen's team. "Cmon, their round should be over soon just keep running!" I speed up.

I can't stop thinking in my head, hoping that Usagi is okay.

There are two players remaining until checkmate.

"Do you really think we can win this?" He rambles. "Of course! We just need to figure out a way to persuade everyone else to side with us." I think.

Round 14. Challenger Team turn beginning. This turn will last 5 minutes. Turn start.

"Finally!" I stop running. Arisu runs to a balcony, "Usagi!" He yells out. A voice comes from above, "stay where you are." She scrambles down the stairs out of breath and crouches down. "You okay?" We both ask her. "Follow me! I have an idea!" She stumbles to her feet and runs. We follow.

We slow down when we hear voices from below. Usagi approaches slowly like an animal hunting their prey. Until suddenly she jumps down, pouncing at the three men. Pressing the buttons, they all yell and collapse to the floor.

"I just saw five more up here! We can get them." Arisu points up the stairs. The woman does not move, she turns to the people, "Do you guys seriously want to keep working for the queen?" They all nod. One man speaks up, "We won't die if we work with her."

I shake my head, "If we all work together then we can defeat all the face cards and get out of here!" The man shakes his head. "That's just a guess man, and nothing more."

Arisu approaches, "Yeah, sure, a guess. And hope. Maybe hope is what we need to survive. I won't give up." He takes a shallow breath.

Usagi breathes heavily, "Sure, you can extend your lives here with the queen. But what does that mean? You're spending the rest of your lives killing each other." She paused. "That's not a life." I finish her sentence. "Why don't you take a chance with us?"

One of the men mumble, "This place isn't that different from our world. You guys want to go home so much? The world sucked. Maybe this one will be better." He looks up to us.

Usagi turns and walks slowly to a banister, "yeah, I thought the same thing until recently. Going back might not be all that great. But you know... I want to go back I really do!" She smiles. "I want to make it back to our world. For all the pain and heartache I lived with, I was raised there. And it made me who I am today. I miss that world. At times, it was unbearably lonely. But I believe it taught me kindness. That life that I had... I'm kind here because it made me that way. This world makes kindness easy to forget. I want to return. I want to give that life another shot."

Arisu gives her a big warm smile. I tear drop falls from my eye. I wipe it away with a smile and sniffle. "My heart.." I whisper, holding my hands to where my organ would be.

"I want to go back." A man in the queen's team steps out form the shadows, "I do... I want to return. And see... My family." Arisu marches towards him. The stranger nods, allowing Arisu to press the button.

One of them men speak just above a whisper, "Do you think... Could I start over?" Usagi gives him a nod.

Two turns remaining, round 15 is the final turn for the queen team. This round will last 5 minutes. 5 minutes start.
