Alice in Borderland X Reader

A Game?

Hey everyone, I'm trying to rewatch the whole alice in borderland episode by episode so I at least get some of the storyline correct in these! Thank you, I hope you enjoy it.

After running for quite a moment to get to the 'game', we finally make it to what seems to be some sort of small building, I haven't really explored all of this area before as I never really went outside much. All four of us, hesitant as we was, begin to walk inside the building.

The hallways were thin and curvy with arrows that pointed to where we were supposed to go. We followed these glowing arrows until finally we were led up to a big red elevator door? We approaches slowly but cautiously, our footsteps echoed. "What's this?" I headed Chōta say, following his line of vision I saw a small table that had about 6 phones placed on top.

I wasn't the first to pick one of the phones up because I hadn't known who they belonged to or why they were there but Karube went straight in and grabbed one. After Arisu and Chōta also picked one up, I decided I would be fine by doing the same.

"Are we supposed to use these?" I asked the four of them, they all looked at me and shrugged there shoulders to show they were just as confused as I was. 'I wonder who the other 2 phones are for' I thought to myself.

"There's no signal" Arisu said, looking down at his phone. I spoke out in reply "The call button is disabled to." What was even the use of these if we had nothing to do with them? As if somebody had answered my mind, I white message flashed onto each of our screens

~Please wait for the game to commence.
So far there are, 4 participants. One minute remaining until registration closes~

"What the hell is this?" Arisu spoke with a genuin look of confusion. By the way they all looked, they didn't seem to think of all this as anything seirious. Crunch they all looked at me alarmingly only to see me snacking on a packet of crisps I had brought from my home.

Arisu was about to question something else about what was happening when all of a sudden a voice came from behind you all "It's a game." She said with a strong tone. "Another person!" Arisu blurted out, clearly not seeing that she had no intention of sharing any information about this place just by the smug look on her face.

She walked close up to Chōta and began digging into his pocket, "Hey what are you-" Karube was about to finish his sentence when she threw Chōtas ID out into the hall. Everyone's eyes widened except mine and the new womans at the sight of the fact on the ID card had been struck with a laser out of the air. "A laser?" Chōta looked at his face burnt with a hole and gulped in a genuine look of concern.

I peered suspiciously at the hall and noticed faint red lines at the entrance area which must be where your not allowed to cross. I caught on pretty quickly after that, if that laser shot a hole threw the ID face then that means it has face recognition. Probably from the phone... You knew they weren't good news but that's what made you think even more.. if it was Chōta who walked out of boundaries would he of been shot dead with a laser? Multiple questions and possibilitys for the answers flooded your brain.

"You cross the borderline and you will never return?" I muttered loud enough for everyone to hear, the woman looked at me "You have no choice but to play the game." She finished off my sentence for me. The woman went over to where all the phones were but as I was watching her I took my eyes off of Arisu to long only for me to look back and see he was about 1 cm away from death.

Not long after all of that, a highschool girl showed up. She was relieved she had finally seen us, actual people so her first instinct was to go up to us. The boys tried to get her to back off but it was to late, she had already walked in threw registration. "My condolences." The woman spoke, handing the girl a red phone.

Just then, the screens began to glow white once again, signalling the game is most likely about to begin. That is when another message appeared.

~Registration is now closed, the game will begin~
[Game]
Dead or Alive
Difficulty: three of clubs
.Rules.
•Select the correct door within the simulated time frame
.clear condition.
•Leave the building within the time limit

As soon as the voice finished, the red elevator door opened up. "Well, here we go." I sigh with a sigh, clearly unbothered by this silly game or whatever it is. I head inside the elevator and everyone follows behind me.
