Dream has been trapped in prison for over 3 and a half years and you might think he knows about how much time he spent there right?..well your wrong I mean HOW would he know if he can't see the light?

One day sam was just preparing to leave prison he was on a break until he started hearing something from dreams cell

~Sam pov~

I was preparing to leave the prison I was on my break until I heard someone..singing?

I looked at the cameras,my eyes widen as I heard dream singing it wouldn't hurt if I stay a bit longer to listen right?..

~Third pov~

"Can you see my wretched tears?
Burning in my eyes now clear"

He said turning his head looking at the lava

"All life's vivid colors are blurring"

"Tell me exactly what you're leaving behind"

Suddently sam had a flash back the day dream was begging him to not leave him in the cell,crying his heart out,yelling

"I call your name as I fall from life"

Flashback the time quackity started to hit dream
"SAM PLEASE HELP ME"

"The blue and red and white all are..
Blurring with the light and I
Shout within the world that is muted"

"Tell me exactly what you are looking for"

Dream said closing his eyes

"I chase your shadow, collapsing more"

"Give me the end these tears have bore"

"Tell me, am I breaking down?
All I am is broken now"

Sams eyes widen as he looked at dream who didnt have a mask suddenly did had a break down right there he was crying..

"Even so I want to keep
On breathing, just breathing"

~Flashback~
Sam watched as dream struggled to breath as quackity choked him more

"Hey tell me if I just saw you
Like the dreams I have in my solitude"

Dream said opening his eyes looking towards the lava reaching his hand out

"My words now can't even reach you..."

"On a distant day, empty
Tender light had shone warmly
Flooding all the sky with its color
Tell me exactly what is the choice you made
Tears fill my eyes as I lie in wait
The consciousness that floats on by
Slowly starts to leave and I
Blur away completely to nothing
Tell me exactly what you're comparing to
It's sad, but I can't recall it's hue
When will this life go cold and mute?"

"Tell me, am I still the same?"

He said looking at the camera sam placed in his cell to watch  him

~Flashback~
"SAMMMMMM"
"hm?"
"I.LOVE.YOU." (dream and sam brothers au)
* sam chuckles*
"I love you too..daydream"
He said smiling back at dream

"Nothing left of me remains
Even so I want to keep
On breathing, I'm breathing"

"Hey tell me am I just dreaming?
Is this time the last we are meeting?
My words are silent yet weeping"

"Even if I give away
Even if I lose some day
Even if my memories fade
I'd still wish the same
I continue restlessly
Kill the error killing me
Laughing out so desperately"

"Tell me, am I breaking down?
Do you know what's broken now?"

Dream said clutching his hair

"Even so the tears I cry
Are hurting, I'm hurting"

"Hey tell me did my words reach you?"

~Flashback~
"SAM PLEASE I'M BEGGING YOU HELP ME PLEASE BROTHER PLEASE"
"Oohhhh~ dream~"(Quackity btw)
"SAM PLEASE"

"That last song I sang in my solitude
"The colored words that I gave you
Are gone and are blurring my eyes are burning"

"Tell me, am I breaking down?
All I am is broken now
Even so I want to keep

"My words now can't even reach you...brother"

Dream said making himself into a ball crying his heart out

Sam looked at dream in shock and also guilt he ran out of the prison to tell the Smp about what happened. He swore to never EVER do the same to his brother again he will make sure of that

*time skip when the all the smp (techno and phil are included)are gathered*

"everyone I have something to tell you about what happened prison earlier"
Sam said taking a deep breath and started explaining ( he also told the whole thing like dream getting torture,ect)

"and that's why I called you all to ask if I could let dream out of prison"he said finishing

"WAIT WAIT WAIT WAITTTT HE'S YOUR BROTHER?!" tommy yelled

"Yes he was"
Sam said looking down

"was? What do you mean was,mate?"
Phil asked

"Well...I doubt that dream still sees me as his brother.."
Sam said still looking down
