Akira remained absolutely still for the rest of the afternoon, her only movement after that fateful accident was to press herself against one of the corners of that warehouse, hiding her head between her knees so as not to see the inert corpse of that woman. A while ago he began to hear some flies flying in circles around the room, he even felt how a couple of them stood on his head, the situation and the feeling it gave him was so unreal that he thought he was dead and for some reason instead of going to heaven he had ended up in the crude and incomprehensible hell. Night began to fall over Tokyo and Akira had to start thinking rightly if she didn't want to die of hypothermia.

With his legs shaking he got up from the corner where he was and gave a timid glance to the body on the ground, the sight was undoubtedly chilling, the woman's eyes were blank, the hollow in her forehead had turned a light brown color like rusty metal. Akira walked slowly and slowly out of the store, he had to go to a new safe place, since his store was no longer safe. He didn't want to go home because he was afraid of finding something much worse than he imagined. She just kept walking aimlessly, looking at the lifeless streets totally lost in what she had to do, with each step she convinced herself that she would reach a safe place, or that she would wake up from that horrible nightmare, but the streets only got longer and longer like an eternal labyrinth that was not willing to let her go. The night that had already come to adorn the sky made her feel helpless and unprepared for that world.

Suddenly something broke the eternal sadness that the girl carried on her shoulders, it was a large advertising screen, one of those that adorn important executive buildings, shining in a white tone illuminating almost the entire block where she was. Akira watched it with difficulty trying to accustom his eyes to the sudden change of light, the ad showed some black letters that dictated.

"Gambling sand in that direction."

These words accompanied by a big arrow showed him the way to that "game", Akira tried to assimilate the information but found no possible solution.

- People? - the question came out of his throat with difficulty, as if he had not spoken in years and his vocal cords were full of dust. Her brain unable to process anything but her need for help in that instant began to scheme for no reason. Her legs moved on their own in the direction the arrows were pointing, her heart pounding at the thought of finding someone alive.

Without realizing it she was running, her little black high heels were lost in the process resulting in a totally crazy and unhinged Akira, not even in her wildest dreams would she have visualized that image. She ran for several minutes, crossing avenues, turning some corners and even going over some fences, the signs finally brought her to a large white building fully illuminated, apparently it did have electricity. A big blue sign over the doors of the building read "Shibuya Public Swimming Pool", the blue-haired girl felt a little confused because she had never heard of that place in her life, but at this point she just wanted to see a person, at least a live one.She crossed the large parking lot in front of the building, there were still some cars parked randomly around the place, as if nothing had happened in Tokyo. As she got closer to the Pool she could see how the big doors were wide open and between them there was a small table, she ran a few last seconds to shorten the distance and instantly regretted the effort, hunger was killing her and that run she had made wasn't helping at all. She leaned on her knees to catch her breath, and between sigh and sigh she looked around, on the table there were about five cell phones and on them a small paper that said "one per person", she did not know if it was right to take one, she did not even know what it would be useful for or if it would count as theft, but still she took one of the cell phones and pressed it against her chest and walked with it into the building.
