Upon waking up the next morning, a clear thought appeared in Akira's mind, almost like an alert marked with fire. Her visa would expire that day and she had to play again if she didn't want to die that same night. So, with that depressing fact and the worry about Chishiya's absence weighing on her, she had to start her day. Kuina, to her own misfortune, was completely exhausted on her bed, rolled up like a tequeño, and snoring like a bear. Akira gave a couple of sighs before getting out of bed and going straight to the bathroom. The truth was that the blue-haired girl had slept wonderfully. She had no idea what the pills that Ahn had given her before did, but she deeply appreciated the hours of simple, dreamless rest they had given her.
After a quick shower and grabbing the first thing she found to eat, Akira began searching for Ahn everywhere to thank her for the help she had given her, as well as for the little bottle of pills. However, before she could find her, she stumbled upon a very distraught Heather, who paced back and forth with her hand on her chin, as if solving an ugly math problem, her brother Harry also observing her with a furrowed brow, sitting on the same couch where Akira had been yesterday with bleeding arms.
-Heather! Harry! How are you?-Akira greeted them slowly. "I wanted to visit you yesterday, but I got lost."
- Akira... Today our visa expires,- the brunette murmured, frustrated, bringing her hands to her face.
- Mine too,- the blue-haired girl replied, almost sympathetically.
- We must not panic, many people here have survived more than five games, why couldn't we?- Harry commented, getting up from the couch.
The brown-haired man approached his sister and stopped her constant pacing, placing his hands on her shoulders and taking a deep breath before pulling her towards him in a warm embrace. - Everything will be alright, sis. I promise you.
Tears threatened to escape Heather's eyes, and although she tried with all her might to hold them back, some slid down her cheeks and stained her brother's blue shirt.
- We will fight together until the end,- Heather replied, also in English, something Akira could not understand, but it was not necessary to know the language to know that whatever they had said contained strength and weight. - I don't think we'll be playing outside Odai like the others. Are you coming with us?
Akira would have preferred to wait for Chishiya, at least to know that he was okay before leaving, but apparently that wasn't going to happen anytime soon, so she simply nodded her head and weakly smiled at the twins.
- I'll go with you.
Heather nodded before taking Akira's hand with one of her hands and Harry's with the other.- We'll see you at the entrance at around 6... we'll be okay,- the brunette said before sealing her words with a strong and pleasant handshake.
Akira smiled a little more strongly. Somehow, she admired Heather. She liked how she could do anything to keep her family safe. Akira had never had a brother or sister, but if she did, she was sure she would be just as determined as Heather and not as weak and fearful as she actually was. Because it is always stronger to fight to share life with someone than to fight to live alone.
