Ruby and Annabeth had been best friends ever since Annabeth had moved from Louisville, they met in preschool and have been best friends ever since. They could tell each other anything, they both felt as though they were sisters and even up to this point in Annabeth's crazy life they still remain friends, Annabeth just loved how she could tell her anything, and Ruby loved how Annabeth would completely understand her, and her feelings, Annabeth was also thinking of this also, while walking through the rain.
