Annabeth's POV:
I run as fast as I can to the mansion, wanting to yell at Slender for making me and Jeff kill that man. I burst through the huge doors of the mansion and run up to Ruby's room. She's not there, I run back down the stairs and find Slender at the kitchen table. I run to Slender and kick him from behind, it doesn't affect him.
"WHY DID YOU MAKE US KILL THAT MAN?!???!?!!" He replied
"I didn't want you to kill the man. I wanted you to kill the girl." My eyes widened with surprise,
"YOU SON OF A BITCH!!! WHY WOULD YOU WANT THE GIRL DEAD?!??"
"She was going to do something terrible in the future," well I guess if she was going to do something- my god Annabeth! Just focus on Ruby,
"Umm well were is Ruby?" EJ came out of the crowd and walked over to me. He leaned over to my ear and said,
"I killed her, I killed her so I could find out what was so special about her brain." He took a few steps back into the crowd as I stood there in complete shock. Jeff looked at me with his hand over his mouth. I guess he was in shock too, I stared at EJ for awhile, until I ran over to him and pined him on the ground, I took my knife out ready to stab him, but before I could, I felt someone's hand on my shoulder, I swung my knife at the hand, and who would have thought it would be Sally's, she took a step back and curled up in a ball and held her hand, but frankly I didn't care, before I could plunge the knife into his chest, he pushed me off of him, and pined me, as he did this his mask came off, and I could see the monstrosity that was once concealed in the dark blue mask. He had sharp teeth and his eyes were black with tar coming out of them. I snapped back into reality and plunged the knife into his chest. Once I did I pushed him off of me and kept stabbing him with the silver knife. Once my handy work was done I got up and said,
"Were is her body?" Slender pointed down the hallway on my left. I ran down the narrow hallway and came to a stop at the end of the hallway.
I open the door swiftly and walk in. I see Ruby's dead corpse laying on a table. I walk over to her and look at her. She was pale, and the pale skin contrasted with the deep red blood, splattered all across her body. I then realized, my friend is gone. The person I have been friends for so long was dead and torn apart. I stayed in that room for a long while before I walked out of the room to find everybody standing outside the door.
"Why? Why would you make me do your biding Slender? Especially to a girl that I thought was innocent, if I would have been here, I could have saved her!! I COULD HAVE SAVED HER!!!" I took up my knife and plunged it into my chest. I felt the sharp pain run through my chest, Jeff was on the floor with me, his eyes were even wider than the usually were. I managed to make out some words before the world went black.
"Never ever kill the innocent. Unlike You. Slender." After I said this the world around me began to fade, until it was complete and utter darkness.
