Halt x Reader ("Do Not Be Afraid.")

This is a shy at first female reader x Halt story, hope you enjoy!

Y/N was rushing through the hotel, she had just managed to escape from Figures Library, before the lights flickered wildly, and she immediately threw herself into the closet, expecting either Rush or Ambush.

To her surprise though, neither of them came, so she got out of the closet once more.

"Uhm-.. that's odd.." Y/N thought to herself, as she decided to continue on.

Once she opened the next door, she was teleported to a long blue hallway, with a loud static in her ears, causing her to flinch, and run through, trying to make it out.

"HALT!" A voice called, nearly causing Y/N to scream as the figure appeared in front of her.

"Turn around!" The voice said boldly, before pausing as the girl in front of him pressed herself against the wall immediately.. she looked absolutely terrified.

"Please don't hurt me- I'm sorry, I didn't mean to end up here!" Y/N said, trying to hide from the monster, in her eyes, everything in this place was gonna kill her.

"Hey.." Halt said quietly, before approaching her slowly, and bent down to be eye level with the girl. "Are you okay?.. I didn't scare you too much did I?" Halt asked, concerned.

Y/N looked up at Halt fearfully, she was having a hard time thinking, and a even harder time trying to come up with a response for this.

Halt immediately hugged Y/N, giving in, he felt horrible that he just probably scared the soul out of her.

"Hey, it's okay.. I won't hurt you." Halt reassured the girl in his arms, who was currently crying, and hugging him back.

"You promise?" Whimpered Y/N, looking up at the taller figure, who returned the question with a nod.

"Is there anything I can do to make you feel better?" Halt asked, as Y/N thought, unable to think of a response though.

"Oh.. no, not really.. thank you though." Said Y/N, before getting up once more, as Halt followed, and stood up also.

Halt looked down at the girl. "Do you think you will be okay to progress on your own?" Halt asked.

Y/N thought before smiling. "Well.. you could.. uh.. come with me if you want, Mr.."

"Halt, the name is Halt." Halt said, filling in the blank with a light smile.

"Right.." Y/N said, before continuing through the room, and looking through the drawers.

"Just.. try not to scare me again while we go through the rest of the rooms.. please-" Y/N giggled, as Halt smiled.

"Okay, have it your way.. but it's fine, I'll just protect you instead." Halt said, as he followed Y/N out through the door, and back into the normal rooms.
