---------------------------------

Rush was simply just running through the halls, looking for victims to kill as the lightning struck outside constantly, the thunder roaring outside of the hotel, causing it to shake slightly.

He soon came across a girl sitting on a chair, all balled up and shaking as the lightning stuck, she seemed absolutely terrified, which is what caught Rush's attention.

"Uh.. Hey?" Rush came over, and bent down beside the chair. "Are you okay?"

Y/N shook her head, trembling, and nearly yelled out of fear when thunder rumbled throughout the hotel once more.

Rush was confused, before he placed two and two together. "Ohhh.. are you.. afraid of the storm?" He asked.

Y/N quietly nodded as they hugged their knees.

"Okay then.. well, If you want I could take you to the quietest room in the hotel? I'm sure being by all these windows don't help." He chuckled, counting how many windows there were in the room, which was about 4.

"P-Please.." The girl mumbled.

Rush nodded, and picked up the girl, and started walking down the halls to where a specific room was. "So what's your name anyway? I mean, this is probably the first thing I should've asked but hey, I'm not good at holding a conversation." He grinned jokingly.

"It's Y-Y/N." Y/N stuttered, as they held onto Rush, clearly not wanting to fall.

"I'll keep that in mind.. and also, chill out, I'm not gonna drop ya." Rush smiled, as he finally opened a door to the specific room, and gently set the human down.

"Is there anything I can get for you? A blanket? Maybe some tea?" Rush asked, as he sat down beside the girl on the bed, hugging her comfortingly with one arm.

The girl shook her head, and hugged Rush immediately. Y/N was glad that the rain was gone, or Atleast quieted down, so much that it finally allowed her to relax.

Rush looked down at the human, then sighed. "I'll be here for a while, huh?" He didn't really mind though.

Y/N nodded, as they got wrapped up into a blanket by Rush.

"It's okay, the thunder can't get you here." Rush said, comforting Y/N as much as he could.

Sooner or later, he was greeted by Y/N falling asleep in his arms, her heartbeat had slowed, and she was breathing softly.

Rush sighed, closing his eyes also he had his head against a pillow.

Rush started to get lost in his thoughts, wondering about the human that was with him.

'How did the human get here? Why were they so afraid of storms? Will they be okay? Did I do a good job at helping them?' we're all the things that Rush was thinking.

He soon eventually gave in, as sleep eventually came over him, and he finally fell asleep for the night.

Before he fell asleep, he said one final thing, despite the human being asleep already and passed out, but.. he felt the need to say it, to comfort her still.

"When Lightning Strikes, I'll always be here, okay?" He softly spoke, and then finally fell asleep.

This book is still being continued though! Just slower updates, but I'll try to update more, ty, and hope you enjoyed :D
