Shadow was sitting on the ground of his room, he's been.. going through a tough time lately, especially with the new update.
There's so many new rooms, new entities, hell even a new place, it scares him.
It scares him a lot, and Guiding Light knew that.
Guiding Light has repeatedly been trying to introduce him to all these other entities, and come take him through all these places, hell, sometimes Guiding Light forced him to come along.
Shadow didn't want anything to do with it though, and he even told Guiding Light that, but Guiding Light didn't listen, they never did.
Guiding Light suddenly came into the room, snapping Shadow out of his thoughts. "Oh, Shadow? Are you crying again?" Guiding Light smiled, though there was.. something wrong about it.
Shadow curled up. "Leave me alone, Light!-" He had completely backed himself into a corner without realizing, as Light loomed over him.
"Look, Shadow." Guiding Light stated. "You've never done anything I asked you to do willingly." They said, frowning. "It makes me feel like I'm such a bad boyfriend, hm?"
Shadow teared up, looking away from Guiding Light.
"It's almost like you don't even care for me at all.." Guiding Light faked a sigh. "All I ever wanted to do was try and find something fun for us to do!.. But you still didn't wanna do it.."
Shadow shook his head. "Look, I'm sorry, okay? I.. I do care for you.. it's just.. all the new places and people.. it scares me."
"But I created all of those new places for you! Are you not grateful at all??" Guiding Light said, forcing Shadow to feel even more guilty.
"N..No, I am grateful.. it's just.." Shadow was cut off.
"Just what, huh? Is it not good enough for you??" Guiding Light tilted their head, and crossed their arms.
"I.. no, it's good enough, I just miss how it use to be." Shadow admitted, before flinching as Guiding Light approached, and then Guiding Light finally did what he expected, at hit him on the face.
"So it IS not good enough!?" Guiding Light shouted. "You're so ungrateful! I did all of this for you and you won't bother to even go look at it!"
"FINE!.. FINE." Shadow yelled, tears flowing out of his eyes. "JUST.. STOP HITTING ME, PLEASE."
Guiding Light smiled, finally stepping away, and helped Shadow up, giving him a kiss. "See? Was it that hard?" They said, giving him a hug.
Shadow went silent, which Guiding Light pretended it concerned him.
"Shadow? Darling, why are you not responding to me? You know I don't like that.." Guiding Light whined, before Shadow sighed.
"Sorry.. just.. alot of stuff is on my mind right now." Shadow said, looking at the ground, before Guiding Light forcefully made him look at him once more.
Guiding Light then kissed him, and gave him some cuddles. "It's okay, I'm here." Guiding Light said, trying to comfort him, which confused Shadow further.
"Let's go explore the new rooms, okay? Maybe it'll get your mind off it." Guiding Light smiled, taking Shadow by the hand, as they walked off.
The only thing Shadow could really think at the moment, was..
"I hate you.. but, I love you."
