Chapter 2

A few days has passed and it was almost the end of the week and Kayla started to worry and panic...she didn't know what to do and she knew that the Princess was stressing out too..she rubbed her arms as she sighs knowing if she told her it would break her heart but, she would be doing the right thing...right..? Kayla walks into Peaches room and she breaths in and out "Okay, you have to tell her your plan Kayla..." Kayla thought to herself as she walks over to her "Princess Peach, I need to talk to you about something" she stated as Princess Peach looks over at her "Oh, sure Kayla what is it?" Peach asked her as she rubs her arms and she sighs "I think I should go and be Bowser's bride" Kayla simply said then, her eyes grew wide "WHAT!? NO YOU CAN'T KAYLA!?" She stated as she stands up "Peach, no one else is taking the place and their too scared too plus, if no one doesn't he might hurt this kingdom and i'm not losing another home again..." Kayla said as she took the Princesses hands "Please, let me do this as payment for all your kindness and letting me stay here within your kingdom..." she said as she looks at Princess Peach. She looks at her silently and hesitates for a moment...and then she sighs and looks over at her "are...are you sure you want to do this Kayla...?" Peach asked Kayla as Kayla looks at her and then slowly nodded "yes, i'm sure Peach" Kayla simply said to her as Peach started to cry and hug her not wanting to let go "I-I don't want you to do this...I...I..." she sobbed through her words as Kayla rubs the princesses back gently "I know but, it's that or let Bowser destroy this kingdom...i'm not letting you all go done just for this one thing" Kayla stated as Peach rubs the tears off her face "o-okay, okay, let's get you ready to go..." she said with a low sigh as they walked to her room to pack her things.

*Meanwhile at Bowser's Castle*

Bowser was sitting on his throne while he places his chin into the palm of his hand as he heard Kamek run into the throne room "MY LORD, MY LORD, I HAVE GREAT NEWS!" Kamek stated as Bowser straightens himself within his throne and looks at him "what is it Kamek...?" Bowser asked him and then he bows "someone has finally agreed to take your offer Bowser" he said to Bowser with maid him arch his eyebrow "oh really? who took the offer up if I may ask?" Bowser asked Kamek as he looks up at him "Miss.Kayla" Kamek simply said to Bowser. His eyes grew a bit shocked "are you sure she took that offer?" he asked again and he looks at him "u-um yes Bowser i'm serious, I wouldn't lie to you about this" Kamek stated as he looks at Bowser "hmm, well that is really interesting..." Bowser simply said as he rubbed his chin "Kamek I need you to go get her with some of my guards for me" he stated as he bowed down and steps back "right Bowser, right away" Kamek stated as he walked out of the throne room. Bowser sat there on his throne thinking for a moment as he rubbed his chin more "Kayla took my offer, That is really intersting..." Bowser stated to himself as he thought for a moment as he relaxed himself within in his throne.

*Meanwhile at the Mushroom Kingdom*

Kayla and Princess Peach with some of her guards walked outside as they waited for Kamek to come and get her and take her back Bowser's castle "Are you sure you want to do this...? We can find another way to stop him from attacking the kingdom Kayla..." Peach stated to her as Kayla sighs and looks over at her "I know but, I'll promise I'll try to write to you to tell you that i'm okay...I promise I will..." Kayla said as she sees Kamek and some of Bowsers guards with him. "Alright Miss.Kayla we must go now" Kamek stated to her and she just nodded and hugs the princess "I'll miss you Princess Peach..." She said as she hugs her back "i'll miss you too Kayla..." she said as they let go of each other and then Kayla walks over to them and they head back to Bowsers castle.

*At Bowser's Castle*

Kamek walks inside with the guards as Kayla follows behind as she looks around the castle "jeez, it's scary in here..." Kayla thought to herself as she as one of the guards tapped he shoulder "um, this way miss" The guard stated as she looks over and follows them to her room and then he opens the door "this is your room Miss.Kayla" the guard said as Kayla looks and walks into the room. "It looks really nice, thank you very much" Kayla said as the guard bows to her "if you need anything let us know" the guard stated as they gently shut the door and she looks around the room and sighs and starts to unpack her things "this is for the best Kayla...the kingdom will be safe and sound now...Bowser won't hurt them like he said...I hope.." Kayla thought to herself as she finishes unpacking her things and putting everything away. She then sits down on the bed and just relaxes for a moment trying to take all of this in and hears the door open to her room and she sits up and looks over and sees Kamek "dinner will be done soon Miss.Kayla and then you'll get to have dinner with your new fiance" Kamek stated as she just rubbed her arms and sighs "gggreat, just great" Kayla said with a bit with sarcastic tone in her voice "this isn't going to go well..." She thought to herself as she sees Kamek leave the door open and walks off almost hopping with joy and Kayla just sighs and rubs her face and was really not looking forward to this but, this is for the kingdom...her home.
