The bride of Bowser

Chapter 5

*In the morning in Bowser's Castle*

Kayla was sleeping soundly within her bedroom and then suddenly she hears the door get knocked on and she slowly gets up and she rubs her eyes as she slowly gets out of the bed "who is it...?" She asked tiredly as she stretched a little to try to wake herself up but, when she heard Bowser's voice coming from behind the door, her eyes grew wide and she fully remembered what happened last night and she started to worry a little. "Kayla, May I come inside the room please..? I really want to talk to you...it's important" Bowser said calmly behind the door as he waits for an answer from her until, he hears the door unlock and her slowly opening the door as she looked at him as she moved a strand of her blond hair away from her face. "...what is it Bowser...?" Kayla said calmly as she could trying not to show how terrified she is since she snapped at him from last night and she slowly started to rub her neck a little trying to hope this isn't what he wanted to talk about that. Bowser slowly walked into the room and he went to pull a chair and he sat down as he looked at Kayla and he put his hands together "about last night...did you...did you really mean what you said...?" Bowser asked and he wasn't...angry...? He sounded surprisingly calm when he told her about the question "i...i um..." Kayla trailed off as she rubbed her arms a little and she tried to think of what to really say to him about that situation from last night.

"I...I mean...look I know what I said might've sounded really rude...and i'm really sorry...about what I said was true...and I felt really uncomfortable when you had to spy on me just to hear about my personal life....and you know very well everyone and everything else here is scared of you..." Kayla said as she looked at Bowser with a serious look on her face as he looked back at Kayla and he stayed silent for a moment. Bowser slowly just took a deep breath in and slowly let his breath out through his nostrils "Look I know it was wrong of me to do...and I'm...I'm sorry that I listened in your personal life...I really wasn't trying to...I was just trying to break into the Mushroom Kingdom...like I usually normally do...but I overheard you talking so I kept quiet and I listened...I..I felt really bad for you...so...after you threw the ring and went inside...I went to grab the ring for you..." Bowser said as calmly as he could do as Kayla looked at him as she rubbed her arms a little.

Kayla slowly walked over and she sat next to Bowser as she looked over at him as she rubbed her neck a little "...I...I guess that's not really your fault...I mean usually everyone says you're bad and scary...which you are at times but, your...your kind of... misunderstood in a way..." Kayla said calmly as she looked at Bowser as Bowser looked at her as well. He blinked for a few moments from what he just heard from Kayla's mouth and he rubbed his neck a little as he stayed silent from her words that she just said about him until he finally mumbled something under his breath but, Kayla didn't get a good hear on what Bowser said. She blinked for a bit and she just sighs as she rubbed her neck a little "hey how about we go out for a walk...just you and me to get some fresh air...how would that sound...?" Kayla said calmly as she gently put her hand on Bowser's big hand gently while she looked up at him with a soft expression on Kayla's face.

Bowser blinked for a couple of moments and had to process what she just said and slowly, his eyes grew a little wide as he looked over at her and then he slowly started to smile just a tiny bit "sure, I would love to go for a walk with you Miss.Kayla..." Bowser said softly as he got up from the chair he gently held his big hand out for Kayla to take a hold of with her hand. Kayla looked at him a bit surprised from him as he wanted her to take her hand and she hesitated for a moment but, she slowly lifted her hand and gently put it into his hand and when she did, she felt Bowser gently holding her hand back as he gently squeezed it in his making her cheeks flush a little bit bright pink. Bowser chuckles a little as he notices Kayla's reaction and then he slowly walks to the door and opens it for her "after you" Bowser said in a gentle manner which made Kayla's heart skip a bit as she went through the door first and Bowser followed behind her as he shouted her bedroom door they both walked out of the castle to go walk within the gardens.

*While in the gardens*

While Bowser and Kayla kept walking and talking around the gardens, They were talking about some of their life and other things...Kayla started to feel more calm around him as they talked to one another...it felt really nice. As they kept talking, Kayla gently held onto his hand and she laid her head gently on his shoulder and she felt more...calmer since earlier...this felt...really  nice and comfortable to her. Bowser notices this and he feels his cheeks flush a little red and he just lets Kayla lay her head against his shoulder while they keep walking around within the gardens together and as they did Bowser stopped and Kayla noticed this, so she lifted her head up to look at him "Bowser, are you okay? Is something wrong...?" Kayla asked softly as she tilted her head to the side but, she noticed him gently picking blue rose out of the rose patch and he gently burned the thorns off the rose and she gently put the blue rose behind her ear which caused her face to turn bright pink from him doing so and she looked up at Bowser. Bowser just smiled and he was flushed red too while he gently placed his big hand on her cheek as he looked into her eyes with a loving look in them "you know, you look really beautiful Kayla..." Bowser said softly whispered into her ear which caused her to turn bright red all over her face and he gently pulled her closer...and closer...their lips inches away from one another...their hearts beating like drums as they looked into each other's eyes...Bowser slowly inches closer to Kayla's  lips...he was so close to touching her lips on his...he closed his eyes as he was just an inch away from her lips...
