THE KINGDOM OF HELL
Lucifer Morningstar had once belonged to the Archangels before she had been sentenced to fall.
By that time, she had been the most beautiful and most powerful angel there ever was and all that glory was now done for.
She had given up on her wishes, on her dreams, just to rule over a land the Great Creator himself had turned his back on decades ago.
A land in which Dream of the Endless was mere enemy than ally.
But now, Lucifer had found a weapon against him - a weapon that once had been his very own and which she would use to finally bring him down.
A weapon which was in fact music to her ears.
THE WAKING WORLD _
LONDON, ENGLAND
"Hello, Constantine!", Morpheus called out this very moment, smiling warmly.
"Did you like my performance so far? It is not so often that a human like you has the chance to listen to my melodies..."
He stopped short, watching the first sunbeams rise in the distance meaning that a few Sleepers would wake up soon.
Making the violin disappear from his grasp, Johanna answered:
"I did like it, yes. You know, my mum used to play the cello when I was a child. She played every night for me and then I would go to sleep right away. This time, it's rather the same, but seeing you there - I thought of it being a Dream, to be honest!"
"What is a Dream and what is Reality does depend on your mind, Constantine!", Morpheus said, chuckling.
"Judging by your opinion, I must be a rather terrible violinist..."
Johanna shook her head, blushing:
"No, I didn't say that. I said that I...oh, yeah. Very funny!"
"Anyway, what brings you here, after all this time?"
The King of Dreams cleared his throat, then started to tell her everything.
