Barry and Iris was sitting at the kitchen table, making up a game plan to talk to Kenz before she wakes up.
"Okay so we're in agreement, we're going to not punish but talk it out and hear her side out" Iris said which kind of help Barry to not jump into it.
" yeah, I'll go get kenz" Barry got up and went upstairs to Kenz's room.
"Kenzs baby wake up"
He pulled the covers up to see pillows there instead of kenz. what he saw was something he never thought would happen.

Bethany Pov
I have just woken up and decided to check on kenzie, She was still passed out on the couch. I decided to make breakfast and have it ready for her.
It's so weird having her here, don't get me wrong I want her here but I feel like it's behind her father's back. I don't want to cause any trouble between the two of the them. They seem to be very close.
As I was just finishing up breakfast, my old phone in the drawer that kenz called me was ringing. Unknown number? Wonder who it is?
I picked up the phone
"Hello"
"Beth?"
"Barry? How did you get this number?"
"We found in kenz book you left her"
"Oh. I'm assuming that your looking for her?"
"Yeah. How did u know?"
"She messaged me last night needing to talk to someone, so she came over and don't worry I calmed her down and she's still here. I let her stay the night, i didn't want her walking home at that time of the night alone."
"Thank you."
"I'll send you my address, so you can pick her up."
"Thank you so much Beth. I'll see you in a few.
"See yeah"
I hung up the phone and finished breakfast for both of us.
Barry pov
I just hung up the phone with Beth.
"Did you find her?" Iris asked me.
"Yeah she went to Beth's last night and stayed there. "
"So I'm assuming that kenz and Beth meet before this then?"
" I guess so. Beth send me her address to pick her up, want to come with me?"
"I think this something you and kenz have to deal with first"
"Okay. I'll see u later" I kiss Iris and headed out to get kenz.
Bethany Pov
Kenz and I are currently getting to know each other as well as eating breakfast.
" so what is favorite subject in school?"
"I would say it's art and music but English and science have a special space in my heart" she's a perfect combination of Barry and I.
"You love reading?"
"It's awesome."
"Have you read the 'hate you give'?"
" I haven't yet but I really want to. Everytime I go to the bookstore It's sold out." I went to the book shelf and took my copy out and brought it back over to kenz.
"Here have mine"
" wait really?"
" absolutely. I already read it a few times and when you read it. We can discuss everything loved and disliked"
"Thank you so much mom."
"It's no problem" I smiled at how happy she is. Their was a knock at the door. " I'm going to get that"
"Okay"
I walked over to the door and looked through the peephole and saw that it was Barry. I opened the door.
"Hey"
"Hi"
"Kenz, is just in the living room. You can come in"
" thanks" Barry came in and followed me into the room where kenzie is.
"Hey kenz" kenz looked up about to reply to me but instead looked behind me at her father.
"Dad what are you doing here?"
"Kenzs I told him where you were."
"Wait you told him?"
"Don't be mad at her kenz, she did the right thing. You had scared when we didn't see you in your room this morning".
"I'm sorry dad. I was just frustrated and didn't know what to do."
"It's alright. Has long as your safe that's what matters." Kenz hugged her dad and I see she finally took a deep relaxed breath out.
"Thanks mom." As she ran to me and hugged me.
"It's no problem. I'm always here to help." She came out of the hug.
"Okay I'm ready to go home"
"Actually I was wondering if you knew more about the powers that kenz will recieve" Barry looked at me.
"I knew you were going to ask me that. "
