Chapter four

You felt a bit calm , you felt almost safe . You didn't like doctors but you could handle people and the ones you were with now . You were still a bit weary of them but you were gonna be living there for now. You saw König laying on the couch and soap and Gaz playing cards . They noticed and looked up at you and Ghost and greeted you. König got up from his seat where he was lying and he walked over to you slowly trying not to scare you .
" hi y/n ."
König said as he waved hello to you .
You gave him a confused you looked back but you did it back . Your grip on Ghosts hand became a little more tight and ghost looked down at you .
" Don't worry your safe here ."
Ghost said , hoping to ease your fears and worry . You looked up at Ghost and you didn't know what to do . You didn't know what was around you . You've been trapped in that hell hole for years and you don't know what house life is like .You slightly let go of Ghost's hand and you circled König slowly , examining him . König stood still to let you look around him . König wore a black shirt with some beige cargo pants and his holster strapped to his thigh . He wore his mask just like ghost but there was something different about him . He was nice and calm . Something that you liked , you didn't quite trust him yet but you figured that since you'll be staying with them that at some point you're gonna trust them just . You trusted Ghost but something also made you wanna trust König .
" he won't do anything to you ."
Ghost states .
" let her explore her surroundings on her own terms . "
König said calmly while turning to face you . You stopped dead in your tracks and you looked up at him . You walked around slowly and the others watched your moves . König walked over to ghost and stood next to him while he watched you look at everything with curiosity. Your uneasiness left you , you were now curious about where you were and what the things were around you .
" You think she knows what this is ?."
König asked .
" No , she's had no one in her life and has been In containment for years. She told me about it . I won't go into details for her sake ."
Ghost said cross armed .
" Well, we can change that ."
König said back quietly .
You walked around and you saw something that was like a rectangular white  box . You walked over to it slowly and you looked at it in confusion.
" What is this ?."
You said turning to face Ghost .
" That is a fridge . It stores food and water."
Ghost said while turning to faceKönig and then back to you .
" we're gonna have to teach her a lot ."
König whispered to ghost .
Ghost hummed in agreement and walked over to you.
" Listen , we're gonna teach you about the basics and simple things such as math and how to write."
Ghost said while offering you his hand again .you took it ever so slightly and you walked with him and to the couch and you sat on it and set your crutches next to you . It was comfortable, really really comfortable. Your leg was sore but you knew you would pull through. One thing you didn't tell anyone was that you had powers . You were able to touch and basically make fire in your hands . You were good at controlling it but there was only one time where you scorched someone and burned them out of fear .
" I'm gonna be filling out reports, stay here ."
Ghost said while giving you a soft pat on the shoulder. You watched as he walked off and you were left alone with König , Gaz and soap .
You lifted your legs up gently onto the couch and you huddled yourself into the corner of it . König had sat back down on the other couch that was sitting across from the one you were sitting on and was resting his eyes . Not sleeping, just lounging.  You got comfortable and you rested your head on the arm rest of the couch.  You didn't want to fall asleep . Only to keep yourself safe you  didn't sleep . An hour passed and soap as Gaz were in the rooms and it was just you and König in the living space . You saw that he was sleeping finally. You didn't know but you took it upon yourself and you got up off the couch quietly . You dragged yourself slowly to the other couch and you just slowly crept and layed down next to König . This was way out of your comfort zone but you felt as if you could maybe trust him. You weren't sure but you wanted to . You gently moved next to him and you curled up into his side and let out a breath you didn't know you were holding . You turned and faced him and you slowly wrapped your arms around him . König felt a pair of tiny arms wrap around his waist and he squinted his eyes and saw you made yourself at home next to him. He didn't say anything and he didn't move one bit . He let you be and you didn't notice he was up so you just rested your head on him and felt safe enough to finally sleep . During your four days in the hospital you didn't get enough sleep and stayed up due to your anxiety.
Ghost sat at his desk and he had finished his reports and he went and got up to go check on you . He saw you wrapped up in königs arms sleeping and König was up and trying not to move or wake you . Ghost walked over quietly and he looked down upon you and König .
" she looks like she has takin a liking to ya ."
Ghost said quietly .
" yeah , I'm just glad she's sleeping ."
König said quietly .
König moved slightly and he left you on the couch by yourself . He went and grabbed a blanket that was nearby and he laid it on top of you .
" What do we do when she wakes up ?."
König asked .
" Well, ask her some questions and then start her training.."
Ghost said while walking down the hallway out of the Rec room . Both men left you to sleep and were on their way and started to get the training room prepared for when you are fully healed. They are planning on reaching you hand to hand combat and teaching  simple things and giving you an education. It was two hours later you woke up to the sound of boots coming your way which caused you to panic and you got up but soon saw that it was just soap and the others.
" Your education starts in an hour . Every days we will each teach you the basics and once your able to walk and  run we will teach you hand to hand combat . But we need to ask you a few questions first ."
Ghost said.
" okay ....what questions ?."
You said sternly .
" We need to know if you want to stay , regardless of what laswell said ."
The blue eyed Scott said. .
" I mean .....I guess , not like I have a home  anyway ."
You said quietly .
" Alright then , I need you to know that you can trust us . "
Soap said .
Ghost told the others where you had come from and they did some research and found your files . You were experimented on and the others finally knew why you were so uneasy . You thought they were gonna hurt you but you were starting to trust them .
" Okay ...."
You said while keeping your focus on all of them.
You had finally had something that resembled a home , maybe you would like this . Maybe this is a good thing . You cracked a tiny  smile at the thought of being safe from harm's way and you thought about what Ghost said . Family , people who care about you and love you . Maybe this could be your family . A family that would be worth more than anything in the world .
