Chapter five

" What is 5x4?"
Soap said while standing over you while you work on a math question at your desk .
" It's 20 ."
You said while writing down your answer on the sheet that he had given you .
" Very good ."
You Gave him a tiny smile and you listened as he read the next question to you . Soap had learned that you were a very quick learner . You flew by math questions like it was nothing and you started to trust him more just as much as you did with König and Ghost. .
" What's 6x6 ?."
You counted in your head and you wrote down your answer and showed soap . He nodded and gave you a small smile letting you know that you had gotten the answer correct. You continued on doing math and it got harder the more you answered correctly .
'' What's 9 minus 3 divided by ⅓ plus 1 ."
Soap asked .
You dribbled your answer on the paper and you got all the questions correct .
" Great work , I'm glad that you know how to write at least. We thought you couldn't ."
Soap chuckled to himself .
'' thank you .''
You said , happiness laced in your tone .
'' why don't we take a break yeh ?.''
Soap said .
'' okay .''
You spoke as you grabbed your crutches and you pushed out your chair from your desk and got up . you got your crutches and soap leads you to the kitchen and he pulls out a chair for you . you thank him with a slight nod and you sat down and he handed you a bag that said MRE on it and a water bottle.
'' eat , after break you'll be learning with Ghost and then you'll be done for today .''
Soap said while sitting across from you eating his own food .
'' okay ....what's this ?.''
You asked curiously .
'' its an MRE , i already pre heated your for ya so just open it up and dig in .''
He said while eating his food .
He gave you a reassuring look and you opened it up and you had a small smile on your face .
This looks really good .
You thought .
You hadn't had the greatest food , mostly scraps and things that you've found on the streets and in dumpsters . you were extremely thankful for this and you were now kinda glad you were found by this team . you opened up your spork and you got to eating . It was hot but it was extremely good . you ate your food pretty quickly and drank your water .
'' thanks .''
You said as you got up and threw out your trash in the bin . you went over to your desk again and waited for time to pass . soap looked at you confused and he got up and threw out his trash as well but then he went over to you .
'' Kid you know you can like ....do things ? you don't have to sit around and do nothing .''
Soap said while looking down at you .
'' i'm waiting for my lesson and to be taught,''
you said a bit nervously .
'' alrighty then , i'll go get Ghost .''
You watched soap walk off and a minute passed by and Ghost entered the room along with soap . ghost pulled a chair out from the kitchen and brought it next to your desk and sat next to you . He plopped down a book onto the desk and he showed you a textbook with a gun on it.
'' since we can't train in hand to hand i can teach you about guns and the ones that we use .''
Ghost stated .
'' i'm ready .''
You said holding your pencil .
You opened up the book to the first page and you saw something similar to what Ghost was holding when you first met .
'' what's that ?.''
You asked while pointing to the gun shown on the page .
'' That is an assault rifle . can kill easily and can shoot from a good distance .''
He said while scooching closer to and showing you how it would work . An hour and a half passed and you were very eager to get finished with your learning . You asked questions along the way and Ghost answered them . He was patient with you and didn't rush , he made sure you understood and when you didn't understand he would break it down slowly so you got the hang of it and started to understand. Give more minutes passed and you finally got the word you've been waiting to hear .
" alright we're done for today ."
Ghost said while closing the book .
You took your crutches and got up out of your seat and pushed it in . You thanked Ghost and Ghost nodded your welcome to you and he started to walk off but you stopped him in his tracks .
" Do you know where König is ?."
You said quietly.
" He's in his room, why ?."
Ghost asked, confused .
" can you get him for me ..."
You said a bit nervously.
" yeh I'll get 'em ."
Ghost said while walking out of the Rec room leaving you alone . You made your way to the couch and you sat down , putting your crutches aside. You soon saw König walk into the room and he looked over to you .
" You needed me?."
König questioned .
" I uh ...yea ....can you stay with me...."
You said nervously and sheepishly.
" Sure ."
König said softly .
" Is it okay if I sit next to you ?."
He asked , waiting for your reply .
" yeah it's okay ."
You said while scooting over to let him sit next to you .
It was funny how you were afraid of everyone on the team yet you trusted the biggest one out of all of them .
You yawned a bit and König looked down at you .
" Someone's tired ."
König said while letting out a little chuckle .
" Can you stay here please ....I just wanna sleep."
You said quietly.
You didn't feel safe yet , you trusted them but not fully and the only one who really kinda showed you was König and Ghost . You were still trying to trust Ghost more but it also seems you've trusted König enough to sleep around him.
" You want me to lay with you ? Is that what you're saying? ."
König said while turning to face you .
" yea..."
" Okay."
König layed down and you scooted next to him laying down as well and you curled into his side.
You let out a sigh of relief and you feel into a deep sleep feeling safe with König .
